trumpets are sexy too. especially trumpet players that know how to use a mute. great stuff.
but imo, nothing comes close to the authenticity of the sound of a sax. it's almost human in its tone. just something about it. great great. :)

hanapin mo yung mga magaling. coltrane. kung opinion ko lang, sina grover at sanborn. basta wag ka kay "KG" :)

well, yes. i have to hand him that.
siguro im just so disenchanted with his playing now. he's regarded as a "jazz great" when so many real jazz players don't get the recognition. he's more into pop than anything else. pero sana ma-appreciate din yung sax na hindi lang si kenny g. naging synonymous na yung dalawa.
but he deserves all he has. im not bashing him. :)

Don't get me wrong ha, I also listen to Kenny G at may mga CDs din na nabili. Pero nung natuto akong umihip ng sax, nag-iba ang pananaw ko kay KG :wink: Malaki din ang tendency na mag-iiba din ang pananaw mo bro :mrgreen: like this one
I sold all my electric guitars and started to blow the sax. The sax blew it away dahil d ko masyadong na-express yung nais kong sabihin sa guitar,

Para sa akin Sax siyempre, maraming keys pero ask ninyo sa mga pro na pinakamadaling pag aralan na wind instrument compare sa trumpet & clarinet. Ang trumpet 3 valves nga pero 3 octaves yata ang kaya nito

Tenor Sax. swabe, magkahalong angas at lambing yung tunog nya. Yung Xaphoon din, sobrang iba ang tunog, parang clarinet na naka-steroids. I want one :lol: didgeridoo kasi ang cool lang, and you can get by with a PVC pipe 8-)
