mga bros.. 13.25 hybrid hats or 13 k/z special combination??
ganito kasi -- been using 14 new beats & im happy with it.. suits well with rock, & heavier type-of-deal music (nice on the studio/recording too!); pero i wanna go for a 13" - para ma-ibang size:) and for a totally opposite sound from the new beats..
guys please share your thoughts!! daghang salamat :)

should try out, A Special Recording Hats 12"... cutting yung chick def nia... swabe... feel na feel mo pa... hehehe

you play rock and "heavier" stuff? go with the k/z. it will cut through the mix with ease compared to the hybrids. with that being said, i'll still take the hybrids over the k/z any day of the week. :-D
K/Z if you'll go for metal and heavier stuffs.
But def. I'll pick the Hybrid, IMO it's sound is very clean both live and studio/recording.
for the 13" hats, i'll use it for the non-rock stuff.. but that's a quick 2 points for the hybrids!!
ang di ko lang gusto sa hybrids is the price.. tsk  haha but actually both are expensive already..
but if it's worth it.. why not dba?? thank you so much.. just have to save up more :)

for me, agree ako sa 'cutting chick'.. super 10/10!! pero nabibitin ako sa 12".. and altho shallow reason, it's not pleasing to my eyes as the main hats.. pero that's just me.. hehe
thanks for the input kapatid :)

yes. hindi kasi bumubuka ang tunog ng zht compared sa mga high end ng zildjian. parang palagi na lang ipit at wala ng ilalakas pa sa tunog ang mga zht. get avedis instead of zht kung talagang nagtitipid ka.

cant afford? maybe today its true but will not always be the case. it just takes time and patience.

magkasing presyo lang kaya ang 2nd hand na high end zildjian sa brand new zht. abang ka lang dito.

ok thanks sir

Try searching the Drum ad section, I came across one. If I locate it I will forward the link to you.

I do suggest taking time to do it yourself as it can be fun and rewarding. Nothing like manual labor to bring self satisfaction. There are a lot of great tips here in Pinoydrums to help you through the process. Check these links:

It's just a matter of preference between the 2 including Zxt, for me they all share a choked characteristic; they don't compare to the higher cast models.

Sa K Cymbal pack, expect the sound to be dark, lower pitched at slightly lower volume compared to the Avedis and A Custom lines. Ideal for electric jazz and rock...and everything in between. Not for metal, matatbunan lang yung tunog.

Maganda yung cymbals na yan individually and as a set. OK yan kung yan talaga hanap mong tunog at yan exacto yung preferred mo na weight at sizes. Pag ako bibili ng set na yan, tatago ko yung hats at yung crashes lang. Mas preferred ko kasi lighter weight at masmalaking ride. Personal preference to. Nakagamit na din ako ng 20 K Ride. Maganda din pero iba yung hanap kong tunog. Not necessarily masmahal na ride, basta mameet yung characteristics na hanap ko
