May inaalok kasi sa akin na 9-month old Fernando...seldom used and all original pa rin. I trust the seller kasi kamag-anak ko. Anyway, she said na kung ako ang bibili, she'll price it at P12,500 tapos 3 gives pa (basically 1 and a half months). I attached a pic of the kit. Should I buy it or should I still look around? I forgot to mention, this will be my first kit if I buy this.

Goodluck men..

@ ken minneman: Tama ka sir...for practice lang and pag nagkakayayaan ang tropa na mag-jam. I would not say na beginner ako...I've been playing off and on since 1994. :-D

Kaso wala talaga akong alam pagdating sa mga set-up and sa parts, accessories, hardware ng drums. I know the brand names pero hanggang dun lang ako.

Anyway, if I had the budget I'd also go for a higher-end kit, kaso since walang budget, I'm seriously considering to buy this. Inaalala ko kasi baka maunahan pa ako ng iba...sayang yung pagkakataon kasi 3 gives eh.

Thanks for the reply sir.  :)

Question po:

I'm planning to buy the first upgrades to my all-stock Fernando kit.

Sabian AAX cymbal set (14" hi-hat, 16" crash, 20" ride) - 12k ang asking price, brand new, with bag

Remo Clear Pinstripe Drumheads (for all toms)

Remo Coated Ambassador Drumheads (for snare)

Ano po palagay niyo mga master?

Should I change the reso too or pwede na muna yung stock reso ng Fernando?

Sabian AAX or Sabian B8?

first of all, FAKE yung AAX na binebenta sa'yo. go with stagg kung naghahanap ka ng budget friendly yet quality cymbals. saw your other post re the skins that you bought; ok din yun. PM'd you re tuning assistance. as for the reso, if budget permits then go ahead. if not, stock heads would suffice since personal use lang naman yung set mo. you could upgrade din naman in time eh. regards!

Fake nga!

Anyway, I'm now looking around for a good deal on Sabian B8's. Also on my list are Evans EMAD2 Clear, Gibraltar Prowler Single Pedal, and a couple of boom stands.
