1. Cradio- get that heart pumping fast..bike,jog, run, jump, headbang, slamman.. sex..bahala ka everyday...start small kahit 5 minutes..everyday..eventually masasanay body mo to 10 to 20 to 30min hanggang 1 hour kaya mo na pala tumakbo ng tuloy tuloy..basta DISIPLINA lang..

2. Cut Carbo, fatty foods..and wag na mag rice sa gabi...

3. Slow and steady basta araw araw..or majority ng days mo in a month..in 2 months may significant change na yan..

4.weigh first para mapagcompare mo..para mainspire ka..pero weigh after a month lang..para di nakakainip..

5. Disiplina..at maintenance nalang...pag may kinaing mabigat...siguraduhin magjog or bawiin sa excercise para maburn...wag maniwala sa slimming tablets or what have you...no pain no gain.

sir, actually kung fat loss ang target mo, hindi mo kelangan ng 1hour jog ... Actually 15mins of cardio /day ay tama na... ang gagawin mo lang is taasan yung level of intensity. For example, you jog at 10kms for 15mins today or this week, next week targetin mo na makayanan ang 11kms or more for 15mins din

Yep, for fat loss you need intensity!

But if you do interval training, you don't just lose weight while running but also AFTER running since it boosts our metabolism. Interval training, basically, is sprinting full speed for like 30 seconds, and then walking/slow jogging for like 1 minute., and then sprint full speed again for 30 seconds, and then walk/jog again for 1 minute.

Do that for 10-15 minutes a day. :) It's something i learned from being a sprinter back in highschool; not only do you lose weight, but you build a bit of muscle also, unlike running mindlessly for 2 hours (like long distance runners)

at malaki rin natutulong ng short but high intensity cardio kung plano mong magpalaki ng muscles..

gawin mo na rule na lahat na kakainin mo ililista mo. ilista mo yung gaano karami, anong oras mo kinain. as in lahat. tatamarin ka kumain ng mga chichirya. kadalsan yun yung malakas magpataba. at siyempre, tama, cardio!

the best thing to do is to get 2 notebooks. one for your food intake, and the other one is for your program of exercise. pag nag-gain ka or nag lose ka ng pound, you always have a reference point to modify your food intake and activities  :-D

iwas din ba sa mga juice ? kasi mahilig ako jan eh, any tips pa paraan mag bawas ng timbang pag busy at walang time sa exercise?

for me, inde ako nag-jujuice eh... I believe that fruits should be eaten in natural state. nawawala ang  fiber contents ng fruits which are very helpful kung nagbabawas ka ng weight.. just my 2 cents  :)

try doing different kinds of exercises depending on your system... I mean mag experiment ka ng different routines, kung ano ang magustuhan ng katawan mo, then yun ang gawin mo hanggang masawa na yung katawan mo sa specific routine na yun. Then try to do different routine hanggang magsawa ulit yung katawan mo then experiment ulit  .... Ang exercise parang pagkain lang yan, kung araw-araw kang kakain ng friend chicken, diba nakakasawa? Ganun din sa muscle, pag araw araw mong pinakain ng same set of exercises(bench press,inclined,declined, biceps exercises,etc..) magsasawa din yan :)

this one. try to incorporate weight lifting in your regimen. marami namang gym instructors jan ang gumagawa ng program suitable for your goals. don't afraid to weight lifts.. some failed to reach their losing weight goals because they skipped this tool. diet + exercise (weight lifting or what have you got) + enough rest = lean body...

@toysuki07 - why not gawa tayo ng thread ng exercise routines for a certain weeks then watch the progress of those who subscribed in that thread and change the program for another weeks.. sounds good? siempre dapat may goals and benefits yung bawat exercises  :)

Progression is the key to avoid boredom in your goals. before you treat yourself as rat on wheel doing hours of running and cardio, try this one. 15 mins per day is enough (interval running). I personally do this because I am doing Muay Thai so I need explosive movements in the ring in every rounds. A short burst of energy while sprinting is good rather that steady pace running.. My cardio program looks like this:
Day 1- 9 rounds of 400 meter-brutal sprints (400m is the standard distance of a track and field track)
Day 2- rest (no exercise but the diet goes on. my body needs to recover on the last brutal sprints)
Day 3- 10 rounds of 400 meter-sprints
Day 4- rest
Day 5- 11-12 rounds of 400 meter sprint

After a month, I'll bet that you will be a cardio machine.. hehe.. kaya mo nang magbasketball ng inde masyadong mapapagod. and you will see that you lost some pound.  :-D

i really need to lose weight na din kasi payo na din ng doctor,
and paonte na ng paonte ang mga damit na nasusuot ko haha,

para sa mga gusto mag start loosing weight you can start of kahit 30min - 1hour walk/jog sa oval or sa labas (just be careful sa traffic) at syempre sabayan ninyo ng tinatawag na after6 diet... medyo mahirap sa umpisa pero after mga 3weeks to 1month masasanay din kayo at makakamit na ninyo ang pinaka inaasam na "loose weight"

for starters, you can do a running program just like this:

• Warm-up for 3-4 minutes at a fast walk or light jog
• Interval 1 - run at 8.0 mi/hr for 1 minute
• Interval 2 - walk at 4.0 mi/hr for 1.5 minutes
• Interval 3 - run at 10.0 mi/hr for 1 minute
• Interval 4 - walk at 4.0 mi/hr for 1.5 minutes
• Repeat those 4 intervals 4 times for a very intense 20-minute workout.

Please do remember to run at your own pace. You can do this once a week. The other three days of training should be weight lifts and the other three days should be your rest day. You need to recover every after training day. That's my recommendation. I don't want to be a [sausage] here. I am just a sports enthusiast. :)

yep.. that's correct.. mejo brutal nga yang ganyan (sorry naman).. its my training regimen during "off-season" and my body got used to it.

tama yung suggestion mo to run 30 mins.-1 hour light jog. it will burn fats during the run.. basta wag na kayong mag-eexceed to run after an hour. it will also improve your base (cardio) in the long run(well, if you are planning to do any sport - marathon, basketball, etc.,), this will be very beneficial for you. :)

Oh heto simple lang pero I guarantee na effective.. In 1 week you will surely loose 5-10 Kg without getting weak..

Diet: Breakfast 1 hard boiled egg + half orange
         Lunch Salad (Lettuce, Olives, Cucumber, Carrots, etc.)
         Dinner Grilled Meat (chicken or beef)

Wala pang exercise yan.. We have a campaign kasi ngayon." Loose & Win" (Loose weight Campaign) First prize: Genuine Rolex Watch..

Gusto ko sana sumali kaso qualification: BMI = 35 and above.. :) eh 22 lang BMI ko..ehehe!
