Snare wires or snare strainer, kapatid.

That's how the snare drum got its name. 8-)

I think nasa Php600-800 price range.

Ok pala. Magkano naman Genera?

I think Generas are around 700-800...

Pero mas mahal yung mga EC2. the 10" starts at 1k++. I outfitted my Fernando kit with EC2s and an EMAD. Sumakit ang bulsa ko... Nabawasan ng 7000 para sa heads lang... Mahal talaga ng EVANS...

dito mas mura Evans compared sa Remo. I wanted Remo Pinstripe kaya lang abot ng 800+  wyl ung Evans n G2 Clear less than 600 lng...

I want a evans coated power center Batter and Evans G1 Snare side sa snare ko... the rest of the set... Pinstripe sana... kaya lng waste of money.... newbie ng me.... at di matuto sa timing... hehehe

I'm really not too good on describing how it sounds e...

Better yet, buy our CD!

I suggest get the Inuman Sessions vol. 1 CD or VCD. (original a!)

I used that snare there. It's recorded live and mas natural yung sound ng snare dun rather than our studio albums.

hmmm, you have to ask sensei jp buduan about that. hawak naman nya pearl dito. maybe you can visit him sometime and have a drum talk. dami ka matututunan dude...

About your snare, i think yung stock heads ng pearl are remo na. coated na ba yang head mo sa snare mo? it also may have something to do with having a 42 strand snare (wire) and 24 strand. tapos yung parang lever sa gilid, sensya na di ko lam term nun. tapos tight tuning ang batter side (taas) and medium tight for the reso side (baba). maybe you can drop by this saturday at the mini-eb @ gig music studios cubao, you can meet some of your fellow pinoydrummers na rin. dalhin mo na rin yang snare mo kung di mo madalaw si sensei jp sa yupanco. I owe a lot to him kasi na-tune yung lazer regal snare ko with evans power center reverse dot for batter and evans 300 hazy reso with astonishing results, maraming hindi makapaniwala na lazer yung ginagamit kong snare sa gig ngayon.

about the heads, mas mura ata ang remo sa evans depende sa model(?). Remo coated ambassadors are i think the high-end of remo heads. sensya na konti lang alam ko sa remo, evans kasi ang ginagamit ko....

Cheers dude! Enjoy your pearl forum series, di ka magsisisi in the long run....

Actually padala yan sa akin, isang set, kasama ng g2 for toms. nakita na ni oneil yun hehe.... nawala ko na yung price list eh pero less than 1k ata. or maybe around 1200 i dunno hehe, didn't check it with them na eh.

Power center reverse dot has it's dot sa ilalim nung head. check mo na lang site ng evans, hirap i-describe eh. pati nga si master jp, astounded sa tunog nun. kaso nga lang me topak na lugs ko kaya hanggang dun lang muna kaya nya, pero it sounded way better than the snare i use sa padis point dito....

bago mo palitan yung skin, try mo muna higpitan yung snare-side head ng todo (well, wag sobra baka mabutas).. and adjust the batter head para mas maluwang lang siya ng konting-konti kesa sa snare-side head...

works for me, might work on your snare...

sir help naman po on my snare,
eh my comment po kc yung gitarista namin at bokalista,
ayaw nila yung tunog ng snare,
manipis daw and things like that...
eh ganun naman talaga tunog ng 12 diba?
im using lazer skins lang on both top and snare heads,
after buying evans,
