Alright so sino sa inyo dito are into real metal?  When I say metal I mean bands such as Spiral Architect, Enslaved, Mercyful Fate, Blind Guardian, Atheist, Judas Priest, Sodom, Possessed, etc... and not fermented vaginal discharge like Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Korn, or any other waste material.

Please raise your hands \m/!!!!

Im into metal. \m/

I am just a recent convert to 'true metal'

I dont consider myself a metalhead though. My attachment to metal is strictly for entertainment purposes only. I dont really live the metal lifestyle. But there is nothing like metal. It has to be the greatest genre of music.

hey there guys, I'm also a metal junkie. I'm into Cradle of Filth, Slayer, Mortician, Sepultura, Sodom, Pantera, Napalm Death, and others of the like.
I like the sounds of Black and Goth metal and I also prefer Death, Heavy, and THrash music.
I also appreciate chill out hardcore music of new bands like Incubus, Deftones, A perfect Circle, Tool, Smashing Phumpkins, etc.
ANyone here who could give me listings of new albums by Gothic metal and Black metal bands?

yep. Theyre 2 of my favorite bands of all time, of any genre. As you can see from my mp3 playlist I have a thing for melodic female vocals in metal. I dont like female death growls though.

What language does Borknagar and Vintersorg sing in?

Vintersorg was that one man band right? and from what I understand, he is now the vocalist for Borknagar?

Borknagar sing in English.  Vintersorg just recently started singing in English, on previous albums he sang in Swedish.

Yes he is now the singer for Borknagar but there will be a new Vintersorg album coming out.  I read somewhere that Steve Di Giorgio (Death, Sadus, Control Denied) will be playing bass on it so it should be something.

I have a lot of regrets with that band.  The problem was, was that it was only the bass player and myself who were serious metalheads and at that inuna namin ang pagkabarkada ng banda imbis na ang musical direction.

Hi Alvin!!!!!  Eh naku, ito living in New Zealand, married, 2 kids, and working.  Hate my wife's home country, kaso medyong no choice at the moment..... better future for the kids here pero may long term na plano rin ako na bumalik diyan sa atin.

Bands?  Dehin, hirap sa oras tsaka as usual wala akong mahanap na makasundo musically.  May kabarkada ako dito na singer so we might try and form something.... kung walang makahanap na ibang members we'll probably just layer tracks and record.  As far as guitar goes I'm writing riffs and song parts here and there pero wala pang talagang buong songs.

Ikaw pre, kamusta na?  Kamusta na ang eksena?  Bumisita kami ng pamilya bandang Christmas - New Year 2001 pero wala akong mahagilap na may contact pa rin sa metal scene diyan sa atin.  T*ngina, I miss home man.

I don't prefer one genre over the other, I like bands from pretty much all the genres.  This would be a ridiculous analogy but here goes: I have a Dream Theater shirt as well as a bullet belt : )

No wonder u kinda dissappeared from the scene....heheheh

anyways...same here...married with 2 kids...here in Makati...working for the family business....

the scene...well ok naman...virtually most of the veteran metal bands are in hibernation....hardcore/rapcore bands are making waves here as well as the kupaw bands...got 2 bands presently....rumblebelly is still around but we lost our original drummer so we're kinda looking for a new one....unfortunately, most of the one we have auditioned, although they were good and would have kicked butt with other genres, weren't as capable as our original drummer...my other band is into the industrial metal/electronica type...

If ever you come home....drop me a line so we can exchange stories just like old times...k?
