yup! magaling talaga si mang RAUL 2 marshall amplifier pina ayos ko sa kanya hangang ngayon di pa bumibigay. hindi katulad sa yupangco makati bwiset! after 1 month bumalik din ung dating sira ang mahal pa ng singil huh!

i had him drop by my house two weekends ago to fix my amp that had a broken lead channel and to tweak my beloved tube-driven pedal.

as usual he didn't need to change parts at all when he fixed my amp. not even the single preamp tube!

And my pedal has improved tremedously after the mod he made. I couldn't believe that an already great sounding pedal could still be vastly improved! And to top all of this, he said his tube pedal design was even more versatile and much more natural sounding than this one!!

so i'm now currently saving up for one of his custom drive pedals! G.A.S.!!!!

simpleng simple lang ang dating pero malupet sa amp/efx repairs.

dinala ko yung amp sunday ng tanghali, chineck-up kinagabihan.
monday morning, nagtext na pwede ko na daw kunin.

sana nga at magkaroon pa sya ng mga apprentice to pass on the
rare legacy.

Had my amp checked by Mang Raul probably May of this year. Not pretty sure though kung nag punta siya sa Canada after that.

May problem yung amp ng church namin. Hindi ko ma-max out yung volume kasi pumuputok putok yung tunog. Ang ginagawa ko na lang is nka 3 or 4 lang ang level ng gain at main volume. It works naman kung nka effects ako dahil may pwde ko i-adjust ung volume output ko from the effects to the amp... kaso.. after 30-mins of playing, namamatay-matay ung sounds habang tumutugtog ka. Parang nago-overheat.

Anu kaya ang problem ng amp namin and how much do you think it would cost para maayos ni Mang Raul?

nice!..might drop by to have my amp checked paguwi..bigla nalang nawala yung DSP-effects signal eh..and medyo nasira ko yung channel select switch sa kakalikot at DIY...haha..

home service lang ba si Mang Raul or we could drop the amps by his shop? cant wait to have the amp serviced..

anjan pa. although almost 2 years ko sha hinunting! nakalimutan kc namin ung address. tapos hindi macontact sa phone.

ito ang scoop though: minsan sabi ano na balita sa amp? sagot sakin, dko macheck ngayon kasi nasa SOGO ako. txt kita mamaya.

dko na tinanong anong ginagawa sa SOGO.

baka may inaayos.

kung anong inaayos, ndi ko alam

he's a really cool guy, sobrang bait and down to earth at masarap kakwentuhan. he spent only minutes fixing my Laney HCM30, but we spent hours just talking about music and musicians.

haha, well, mang raul fixes stuff other than just amps... but at SOGO, dunno.. baka PA system lol
