hey, i'm a big fan of a lot of goth and post-punk bands and i love the cure and siouxsie and the banshee's early music! anyway, yeah, the late isabel are pretty well known (i think) here in the philippines and yeaaah... their singer's like "our" siouxsie sioux... which is exactly why i don't like them! she acts way too much like siouxsie it's not even funny. they might as well be a cover band.

uhhh, i like that one song of theirs... doll's head or something. oh, and have you seen the video for their version of my favourite things from the sound of music?? most retarded thing ever!

nah, i don't, sorry. but the video for doll's head is on youtube, i think. can't remember! but yeah, the cheesy video i was talking about had a lot of spidersss. so cliche! i think i'd like the late isabel more if they'd stop being so stereotypically goth. -_-

I take it back. 'Panget, ampota.

The Cure GOTH? Banshees GOTH?

Darn.

And I thought people here are really into music.
The Cure hate being called GOTH.
The Banshees wear black lipstick because it's all they can afford then.

Akala ko pa naman, walang fashion victims dito.

ho-hum.

The cure's earlier stuff were dark indeed... but they grew out of that later in their career and started doing wierd happy music

Siouxsie Sioux was always labeled as either Ice Queen of punk or the princess of goth which she hated.

Indulge an old man with his whims, hee-hee . . .

Anyway, I've got nothing against Goth. Honest.

I think Martin Gore's songwriting should be considered as such.
One of my favorite movies was, and still is, in my opinion, the only true Goth film I have seen, from the production design, the cast, the music and score, truly appropriate, not to forget the fact that they finished the movie with the death of Brandon fresh in their minds, well, the plot thickens . . .
Suggestions from an old man:
Look for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds music.

And tell me what you think.

you don't need to recommend nick cave and the bad seeds to me 'cause i already listen to them, haha. i love tupelo.
