Kung Pearl vs Yamaha, di naman malayo yung stands and pedals, pero mas solid lang talaga yung sa Yamaha, especially their kick pedal and hat stands hindi ka maaatat palitan. Yung sa lugs lang ang di ko sigurado, surely it wont tune to really high tensions. I can only speak for the Pearl Forum Series, and AFAIK the Target is below that. The lug casings though don't look as solid as with say the Yamaha or even the Taye

vs. Taye, I can't say, I only ever looked and played on them but never owned them. The hardware feels solid though, pati yung lugs. The snare drum I got to play was tuned well.

weird question...pwede niyo bang isuggest yung compact drumsets (i.e Pearl Rhythm traveler) as an entry level kit?

Yes! They're usually at par or more expensive than full sized entry level kits though, so unless space is a concern, try to go for the regular ones. Or Traps kits, because apparently they sound good for drums without shells. I'd also consider junior sized kits (18KD 10-12-14TOM 13/14SN).
