Different strokes for different folks. I tried to like the roland cube40XL I had before. Cool amp with lots of bells and whistles. But I like the HT-5 better. It feels the same the way I like a peavey bandit way over a line6 spider. Guess I don't need tweakability, or just prefer a rock solid tone, with just a few shaping options.
But don't take my word for it, sometimes I like plugging into a laney cub10 better than the blackstar, for the same reasons. Getting a good core tone so I could focus on playing and technique.
