Hi to all NuX users here, I am new to this multifx and I just bought a used MG 100 but is still in mint condition and just bought it at 2K for the former owner is getting married and is quitting guitars that is why he sold it. Anyway, I am a GT10 user and thisis my big rig setup with others stomps connected to it and sounded really, really good. I bought the Nux MG-100 for my small setup for my out-of-town gigs. Well, what I did is I copied all the patches I have in my GT10 through my ears and to tell you honestly,the sound is almost the same. Mas madali nga lang mag tweak sa NuX kasi parang stompbox lang ang tinitweak mo kaya nga lang hindi pa din exact ang tunog na gusto ko kasi sa konti lang ang mga knobs na pipihitin mo. Kung tamad kang magtweak at gusto murang multieffects NuX ang bilin mo. My GT10 rig weighs around 25 to 30 kilos my NuX rig weighs just like a laptop it is actually kept in a laptop bag. Pwedeng i-hand carry sa plane. Satisfied ako sa sound. Dotted 8 wala but you can have as close sound as dotted 8. Wala lang siyang master volume kung kakabit ka sa poweramp in ng amp at hindi sa guitar input. Kasi everytime you change patch balik siya sa setting ng na save mong patch ang volume kaya everytime mag change ka ng patch adjust ka din ng master volume. Kaya advise ko, turn off the cab sim, connect ka sa guitar input flat mo lang ang eq ng amp kasi may setting ka na sa NuX. Pag nagconnect ako sa amp ko except volume ng amp lahat 12 oclock ang knobs. May nakakabit pala akong stompbox after the NuX, Boss super overdrive at behringer EQ. Bakit may EQ? Para hindi ko na bubuksan ang setting ko sa mga patches if I gonna play with different amp di ba? EQ sa labas lang ang itweak ko. Kapag naka engage yung boss sd ko malakas ang tunog ng reverb at delay ng NuX. Bakit ako may overdrive pa sa labas, just sakaling mabitin ako sa overdrive hindi na ako pipihit ng NuX, aapakan ko lang yung boss sd e di ok na. Overall, it is a good multieffect for a very low price.
