looks like source engine was used. hawig sa left 4 dead ang itsura.

Inayos na ba nila yung gameplay? o super konti parin ng balang mapupulot sa paligid

They used Havok Engine in the console version. I pretty much doubt that they'll change it.

It's not Source. It's better. Except for the environmental interaction effects. Hands-down parin ako sa Source in that aspect.

Actually, maraming bala. And that's what I hate. If you equip yourself with a rifle and a machine gun, the Majini magically drop rifle ammo and machine gun bullets. If your partner uses a grenade launcher, crates magically spawn acid/explosive/flame rounds. If you're on low health, you're likely to find a green herb drop on the next Majini sortie you kill. Its gameplay is more ACTION and less SURVIVAL HORROR - the latter of which I actually miss.

It's like comparing Dino Crisis 1 with 2.

MEH. I WANT I WANT I WANT. This'll be so aweswome.

If you're into zombies like I think you are, then hear this: The enemies aren't the zombies we've come to know and love.  :x  Still a fun game though.

Well... it's up to the player if s/he wants to maintain the survival horror theme. I mean, do not buy/upgrade weapons, stick to your handgun, do not loot(except those you find from crates or are lazily lying around), and lastly... play on harder difficulties... although Professional Mode is no joke, even if you have fully upgraded your weapons.

Good point. :-D

I do miss the gulat moments though. The very first zombie turning around in the mansion corridor. The arrival of the first Tyrant in Resi 2. Nemesis following Jill room to room in Resi 3. Nakakamiss.

And while Resi 4 and 5's over-the-shoulder movement system is a good change of pace, I miss the "walking tank" movement of old. In the old games, when I saw a zombie, HALA SIGE TAKBO.

Maybe the old games' gameplay isn't applicable to current and next-gen platforms. But hell, I still miss it.

Oh, I also agree that Professional Mode is SO DARN UNFAIR. HAHA. I could finish Resi 1, 2, 3, and CV on Hard/Heavy mode without breaking a sweat. Resi 5? ASA.

Yep, it supports Nvision! But you need to have a 120Hz monitor to fully enjoy the 3D features with the 130-buck IMAX-ish 3D glasses. And those monitors cost twice their 60Hz counterparts, not to mention di pa available locally.

If you're stuck with a 60Hz monitor, you can only enjoy Nvision Basic, which uses red+blue goggles like the ones that came free with Koko Krunch. Nakakaduling.

Haha... I was like that way back in college. When a good game comes out, I, patiently, wait for someone to share it. But heck, everything changed after getting my job. Since I belong to the IT Community, I thought... man, if I was working on this industry, I must support it.... Same goes with music, right? If you want quality music/games, then do your part.

I think they've already named the scenario in RE5:AE. It's called Nightmare. You can find it on their official forum at http://www.capcom-unity.com/resident_evil/go/forum/view/7391/17241/Resident_Evil_5 . :D

Nice.

That's the Executioner. Since you're just starting, it's best that you run around. Make sure to get your first MG to the right of the big red gate, opposite the house where you started.

Haha, naging issue yung racism undertones sa latest RE's.

Hispanics daw nung Res4, then "Somalians" nung Res5. A lá Black Hawk Down.

It's not racist!!! Bio-terrorism doesn't care whether you're Black, White, Asian, now does it?

Yep! My Logitech Rumblepad USB (Exact PS2 layout clone) works perfectly.

I'd have to say though, keyboard+mouse is better. Or at least, an X360 controller. Since RE5's control-mapping is based on that.

am i the only one that didnt like this game? :D

i think i've played enough horror in Silent Hill to last me lifetime. i was expecting to enjoy this game tonight, but man i got stressed after a few levels. then i took it off my system :D

also, the over-the-shoulder cam doesn't really fit my tastes, it's like the gray area between a 3rd person view and a first person shooter, which is really awkward. there's this big space to my right that doesn't get utilized because of the camera confusion.

this game may work for a lot of people, but not for me.

I hardly believe that the zombies will get a comeback... unless the time will be set prior to Raccoon City's nuking, which is very unlikely to happen, especially now that action has become the games highlight.

Not being a jerk but I think you're referring to Majinis. Uroboros come in 2 known variants:
1. Mkono(Chapter 5-2)
2. Aheri(Chapter 6-2)

The one fought on Chapter 1-2 doesn't have a name. I cannot say that it is a Mkono.
