Recording stuff
« on: March 15, 2007, 02:05:06 AM »
So I got this Line 6 Toneport yesterday.

I was wondering kung merong program that could work with this na pwedeng mag-integrate ng drum beats?
I'm writing some songs for my band and gusto ko lang ma-record to at home with full accompaniment.

Salamat!!!

You can use your tone port with any sequencer the likes of Cubase, Logic, Sonar, even Ableton Live.

Band-in-a-box?

Another easy way to set up a mechanical drum track is with FL Studio.

Get a drum sampler. I'm a toneport user myself and use Battery 3 and EZ Drummer for beats.

Samplers don't play loops; they only hold drum hit samples although some will have midi grooves that you must assemble in a sequencer. You still need at least pattern sequencer of some sort. I use Sonar 6PE which comes with Session Drummer2 - very good for the money.

The toneport is good. Use it to make your own sounds; don't be a copy of anyone elese's. Ableton Live is very good in assembling loops, use it to your advantage.

Yes, yes, yes. Tama ka bossing.
I can't get enough of this last night. Halos di ako makatulog. Pati kasama ko sa bahay, di rin makatulog, wahahahaha.

I'm getting into my blues/rock groove kagabi. Ayan, masakit tuloy ang ulo ko. I'm still figuring out Ableton Live. Bibili sana ko ng Idrums, kaya lang pang Mac sya. I know it will work sa PC, pero di na bale.

Di ko pa nga lang ma-figure out yung funky sound.

Gusto ko na tuloy umuwi at pagtripan ulit.
