Roland cube amps

Is this applicable to cube amps?
Alam ko kase cube amps are modeling amps and are digital so parang kasama na sa equation yung speakers sa pag sim nila ng amps. Parang nabasa ko nga na you will get better sound quality if you use the headphones instead of the built in speakers. I believe the speakers they used sa microcubes are car stereo speakers and yet you can get amazing sounds.

I think that's applicable sa ibang SS or tube amps but not the digital and modeling amps like cube amps

I don't know about you, but the headphone output of the 40XL I had sounds nothing like a guitar amp cabinet and speaker moving air. To my ears, it's still a tinny reproduction akin to the lineouts of other amps, e.g. Peaveys and marshall MG's and other SS with headphone outs. I've said the IR's can help, and that's my subjective experience with it.

Now, for low volumes, try hooking up the headphone out to a speaker cab, it still sounds great, and that I remember reinforced my thinking that the impulses are what you need. Either the speakers are out of the equation or the 'emulated speaker' just don't sound too good on their own.

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW!

being a huge Roland Cube fan ...having a 15xl, and 4 microcubes (all colors) since 2008...I finally got to score the new CUBE GX...

first thing you will notice are the finishes...seems like roland cut costs compared to the old micrcube...the strap on the GX is like some fake leather that will flake in a few years..the chrome top knobs..the tolex and plastic parts all seem downgraded..

BUT...sound wise...I must say..its a tad bit better than the old..as its louder and can handle more volume headroom...and its loaded with tons of features..like a chromatic tuner..some iphone jack interface (which i dont care about) ..new effects.. I FREAKING LOVE THE OCTAVE AND SPRING REVERB!!!..some memeory button to save your presets..
and did I mention its louder and can handle more volume headroom??!! haha

aside from the looks...I think Roland still keeps in line with their product quality....Im keeping the new CUBE GX!

mismo..saktong sakto yung low end din...I wish I hadnt sold my 15xl, really worked well with my pedals lalo yung fuzz..

not sure..sa china ko nakuha..brand new mga 7k yata ang price dito...got it used kaya nakatipid... I guess features wise..mas naging FUN siya..kaasar lang yung chipipay na materials..
