On to the ideas...
Another reason why I think this thread belongs here is because we need ideas ng mga activities, games and pakulo na guitar-related. At the same time tho, we don't want this to be a pagalingan or pissing contest among guitarists. Suggestion ko nga is silly games na guitar-related pero hindi maiinvolve ang pride bilang isang gitarista (vs. just the gear itself).
Here are some ideas:
Prizes for games and giveaways:
- we can have 'paripa'/raffle and give away prizes also for the games
- we can write Yupangco, JB, PJC, Lazer, and other stores and ask them to donate a prize in exchange for 'media mileage' for the event. sana cables, strings, etc! pwd na pang grand prize ang pedal!
- forumites can donate used or bnew stuff they wish to give away. i am donating a glass slide as a prize.
Equipment:
- I think Porch has already sufficient (and nice) equipment provided. We can bring our own amps if we want. And our weapons of choice.
Performances
- we can invite guest bands/performers, if we need em.
- we can just jam instead

Games (puro silly, kid games lang pero guitar related):
- "Bring me" (eg, a pink thumbpick, a Mariposa #0 string, an R9 LP!)
- "Longest sustain" (instead of longest line) - pahabaan ng sustain on one bent note (using same amp)
- "Trip to Jerusalem" (hehe... katuwaan lang)
- ano pa ba???
O ayan, ideas lang yan ha. DAgdagan or comment-an nyo. Bahala na ung committee pag decide.
