its battery lasts just like any other phone. mine lasted 3 days with minimal calls and slightly extensive music use. because of it being both a cellphone and a music device, of course the battery life will be less than normal cellphones. if you're an extensive caller, then i'd suggest you just get a business phone, and buy a separate music player.

err i have 2 friends who had severe problems with their xpress music. one had keypad problems, another screen problems.you might want to research on user reviews just to be sure.
