waw dami nang nangyayari dito ah.

narinig nyo na ba yung BRIGADA? I heard they're really good.

For jamming.. clinics.. stuff that guitar orgs or drum orgs do.

PERCUSSIONS PILIPINAS.

hahaa.. or pdeng iba.

and para maraming resources.. i've been trying to get contacts so that i can get a kulintang. wala akong mahanap na deep in the muslim region nakatira eh. kaya ung mga prices na nakukuha ko laging mahal.

and merong pattern ang bongos.. hahaa late response. yung martillo yung basic. malapit ung tunog nya sa tumbao pattern ng conga. and it has a half count early.. or maganda sana kung ganon para nakalabas ung mga slaps.

toys? umm.. pinakabago kong toy, yung dalawang magnet na itlog na binabato pataas tapos nag rarattle sound. hahahaa pero hirap i-mic nun..
Life starts after the forth count..

I'm learning bongos. Just got a pair a few months back. Been listening a lot to Putomayo sounds lately.. Kailangan kasi mapasok mga afro-cuban latin beats sa puso mo if you really want to get a groove. So far, I'm playing around with the martillo experimenting with diff accents and patterns.

Sometimes, I jam with electronica music. I'm into clubbing kasi before pa. Sana may nagtuturo ng bongos, congas, djembes, timbales or doumbeks dito..

Isa rin sa favorite sound ko is the Indian tabla.. meron kaya gumagamit nun dito? :)

Bro, you may not know it, pero madami kaming drumkitsters dito na interesadong matuto mag percussion.

Anong genre togs nyo, Duyduy? Share naman!

@ Sir Cosmic Adobo: Its an honor sir.

I'm jamming with a band ngayon who plays metal music so parang Puya yung lumalabas pag kasama nila ako :-D j/k... 1 time palang ako nakasama sa gig @ Center for Arts and since then, dami line-up na gigs for the band, di nga lang ako nakakasama hehehe. I'm more into the African - Percussion sounds though i don't think I sound anything close to it. I grew up listening to a Neo-African band called Tantra (nasa LP or plaka yung copy ko nun).

Ok, salamat.  :-)
