reggae drums
« on: September 26, 2006, 02:50:34 AM »
I just want to share this kasi natutuwa ako sa drumset na to hehe. anyway here goes....

My name is Miggy, im a drummer from U.P.L.B. Im a member of a musicians org in our school called U.P. Jammers' Club. I have four bands. two of them are metal (Zendero and Tempest), one punk (Aunt Audrey) and one reggae (Kwatro Biente) and occassionally i session for VOC. chopsueyan ng tugtugan ko diba? hehehe.

Anyway, i own a double bass 8-pc Tama RockstarDX, which i really love kasi bagay na bagay ung tunog niya sa metal and since i really love playing metal music.
I really have no complaints about this kit (except that i want more cymbals and a rack! hahaha GAS!) pero minsan may iba akong gusto gamitin na kit, lalo na pag reggae ang tutugtugin.

As i've said, im part of a musicians org sa school, and one of our alumni gave us his old beaten up kit since he was living in the US. grabe tong drums na to, ang pangit ng tunog. The wires on the snare really need to be changed. lumang luma na din ung mga drum heads.

When i play it i feel like im in trenchtown, jamaica.

Ok din kasi ginawa siya ng LP kaya maganda ata ung kahoy at made in the US.

I just wanted to share this to you guys kasi nakukulitan talaga ako. Try niyo minsan. :)
