NEED HELP: MULTI EFFECTS OR INDIVIDUAL PEDALS?

Hey there dudes, just need help. Im currently using multi effects Digitech RP300 and im planning to switch to something i havent tried yet..

Which is better to use for much Quality and Satisfying sound?
MUTLI EFFECTS OR INDIVIDUAL PEDALS?

If Multi Effects, What brand and model?

If Individual Pedals, What brands and models?

errr jrock music kase ang tugtugan ko, more on progressive instrumentals..

ang problema lng sa individual pedals, d ko alam kung pano yung mga tamang combination and tamang pag timpla.. unlike sa multi effects, madale lng >__<

kaya kang tulungan dito. tutulungan ka sa mga combination and pagtweak ng mga pedals.

Actually analog pedals are easier to tweak IMHO.

for satisfying tone...analog over multi any day of the week.

for ease of use and for budget constraints, the multi wins hands down over stompboxes. it's your call.

"nothing beats analog pedals" - I think this is Brew Reyes' statement regarding guitar effects although he uses multi nowadays.

going Analog is like eating in an Italian Resto; you know what you'll get, and what you'll get is a single choice of food, which is: Italian.

going Multifx is like eating in an Eat-All-You-Call resto; you'll get a wider variety of food to choose from.

Stompboxes: A la carte. hehehhehe.

Multi: convenience of travel - so many sounds, if you need all, (depending on brand/model) in one chunk of unit, versatile too.

Analogue: many to bring but pure, not emulated, smorgasbord of manual choices and color of sound in a few steps..

or, A COMBINATION OF BOTH.

personally, after all the multi, analogue, multi+analogue..  i now use analogue pedals.

Buy one good MultiFX and use it's loop for more of your preference analog pedal if you still want. It's easy to go home recording with PC and live situation.
No need for physical AMP just use MultiFX different preamp and cab simulation
and DIRECT PA on live application.

Weee maraming salamat sa mga suggestions nyo. I think ill go with the analog pedals nalng. Pero eto naman question ko:

What analog pedals should i use? Brand and combinations?
I dont really know how to use the other pedals like chorus, delay, reverb, etc
nasanay kasi ako sa multi effects XD

mas madaling magset up ng individual pedals, kahit on the spot..
sa brands naman i suggest dun ka sa may pangalan..pero there are pedals na kahit wala pang masyadong pangalan pero maganda tumunog..d2 kana rin bumili ng pedals na 2nd hand pero ok pa ung working condition para makamura ka..
itest mo muna ung item bago mo bilhin para makasigurado ka..

diba nagseset ka sa multifx ng mga programs dun?..parang ganun din ang sa analog, ang pagkakaiba nga lang "individually" mo siya iseset..naencounter mo na siguro yang delay, chorus at reverb sa multieffects mo di ba..ang idea kasi ng multifx eh "MULTI-EFX" ibigsabihin maraming effects compressed sa isang pedal..

dati rin akong multieffects user, when i shifted to analog i never looked back..pero baka mashock ka pagshift mo sa analog lalo na sa distortion, sa una lang tlga kasi nasanay lng tlga ung tenga ko nun sa multiefx..pero trust me analog ka nlng for the tone..

kung wla ka tlgang idea sa mga modulation effects like delays and chorus, i google mo nlng para sa description and better yet  hanapin mo sa youtube ang demo ng pedals para mag kaidea ka sa tunog..

Chief kung pano mo combine yung sa multi mo ganun din sa analog same with tweaking. Mas masarap nga lang sa analog. Madami nagbibigay review ng mga analogs dito sa philmu. So research muna para malaman mo kung ano kailangan mo.

tone-wise, i'd go for individual pedals kasi pwede mix nad match ng diff brands. hehe. ,maGAStos nga lang.

i also play for a jrock band, naka-individual peds ako kaso mabigat pag marami na. 3 pedals lang dinadala ko, chorus, disto, saka badmonkey.

nakakabitin nga lang kasi kulang ako sa modulations so i'm planning to combine my analog peds with a multifx unit. disto/od sound from my stompboxes then modulations from the multi.

go with boss multi effects. Yung boss gt multi effects ay pareho dun sa analog nila. parang pinagsama lang lahat ng stomps nila sa isang casing

Sir, mga HeavyWeight and branded mga yan, ayaw ko rin sana ibenta kaya lang ayos na sa akin Boss GT10. Gusto ko lang package deal para isa lng kausap. Magkano kaya kay KawayanStrat Dr.Boogey nya? Extremely done for personal use ko DBoogey at rebote delay, ako mismo nag DIY and order bought all the parts from epektos even mga knob and pots. That Tubescreamer I modded into twinstack IC  :-)and 808 mod. Share ko lng mga other DIY stuff ko.

That's why I tossed it all into the bin and just bought the Boss GT10 for good
