IMHO, go for the iPhone. i ave my iPhone4 still with me. after 5 years of use, its still like when it came out of the box. when i finally replace it with a newer model, this will be my MP3 player :D

But unlike the Sony flagships, sobrang olats talaga yung Samsung. Di sya sulit for the price, considering the function, fit, and finish of other phones. After all these years, with top notch specs, di pa rin maaliwalas yung experience. In contrast to Sony, kahit talo sila sa market share, ang sarap gamitin ng Sony. Pero since nasa Apple ecosystem na ako, iPhone pa rin! :lol:

Nakadadala ang dating mga ginawa ng Sony eh (separate issues). Rootkit installation, removing functions (PS) etc. Pero binabasa ko ang track record nila sa android, oks naman so far.

yeah. remember Sony Aino? was really drooling when that was released. an exceptional product from a well-known brand. but when the reviews came in, man, i was so disappointed that i felt so tempted to stop people from buying it in the gadget stores that i frequented.
when they decided to harness the capabilities of Android, i wasnt so sure if im going to get one. ive known Sony to be a pricey brand. pero they proved to be a high caliber team willing to deliver the best in the field.

and in addition, yung mods ni Samsung sa android nakakabagal. it reminds me of what manufacturers do to windows PCs with their crapware, except you can't really take those away unless you flash the thing and load a pure version of android on it which will in turn deactivate some of the hardware dependent features. and they charge stellar prices for modest improvements.
Unlike sony, for roughly the same price of a Galaxy, it has better water resistance, and uses better materials, with really top notch build quality. and for the software, it might be skinned as well, but it's not that heavy, and actually keeps features stock, or improves them instead of making things gimmicky.

funny you mentioned that. i had a cherry mobile skyfire 2.0 flashed with xperia rom. man, what a huge improvement. battery life, launcher responsiveness, panalo.

actually di naman na totoo yung "minor improvement" na yan. incremental na lang ngayon talaga ang improvements ng iphone. pipiliin mo lang kung anong styling ang gusto mo. pag gusto mo yung pinakabagong design, sa major release ka. pag gusto mo yung nasayo yung latest na current style, dun sa sa S release.

bago ako mag-iPhone eh yung Nokia 3310 pa.
Siguro hintayin ko din hanggang maging bago yung form factor nya; unless maging mas manipis yung bezels (yung frame) or mas lumaki yung screen nung iPhone 7,
baka hindi pa din ako bumili. Pero eventually, bibili din ako. Reliable talaga yung iPhone eh :-D

Binigay ko na kay utol yung iphone 5s, kasi gusto niya ng iphone. Ayun ang gamit ko ngayon yung Alcatel Flash 2. Kakarelease lang nung september at magaganda review. Sa Lazada ko binili, mabilis din. Ayos na ayos naman so far. Ang pinakamaganda neto mura. Hahaha
