DVI or VGA?

sir medyo curious lng ako kc sbi ng friend ko bkit daw VGA ginamit ko,mas mganda raw DVI cable sa LCD at ksma daw un sa monitor pg binili,eh wala ung sa akin nung nbili ko....ano ba kaibahan nun mga friend?...hirap din humanap ng DVI!

Depende kasi sa video card mo kung supported ang DVI, Kung walang DVI port sa video card mo, VGA talaga ang gamitin mo, no choice ka...Kaya okay ang DVI connection with LCD kasi mas okay and para lumabas talaga yung quality ng graphics. Ano ba sir yung video card mo? check mo sa port ng video card mo kung may DVI, kung wala...no choice, or palit ka ng video card, mura nalang naman ngayon yung may DVI na. Hope it helps...God bless.

Pag VGA yung ginamit, it means na analog (RGB) yung signals na pumapasok sa LCD.  In terms sa DVI, digital ang mode ng transmission niya.

tama si D3m1tr1.. .. no choice ka talga kung alang DVI port sa video card.

Hindi mo na kailangan ng DVI cable...Yung VGA to DVI converter lang. Kung may DVI port yung NVidia Video card mo, dapat meron kasamang converter yan, check mo yung box ng Video card mo, baka nandun lang yun. Kung wala, tingin ka sa mga computer stores, baka meron sila for sale. Mura lang siguro yung converter.

VGA to DVI converter won't help improve your resoluton. This is only used when you don't have a VGA or DVI port on either the Monitor or Video Card. Pag meron, wag na i-convert, gastos lang 

Difference between VGA & DVI. Well in VGA, the Video Card converts the data signal to VGA format and sends it to the monitor, during conversion, some video quality are lost, while DVI doesn't need conversion and sends the signal directly to the DVI enabled Monitor.

It is just a suggestion...Also, if the video card supports DVI, so why not use it. Regarding with the converter, it won't cost that much for...sayang naman yung DVI port ng video card...so it is better to use the
DVI than VGA.

DVI to VGA converter 219.00 pesos lang yan sa electronics boutique sa festival malapit sa audiophile. kaysa bumili ka ng DVI cable na almost 800 pesos ang presyo.

useless nga rin po sir killswitch kc prang adaptor lng sya,unlke sa direct DVI to DVI port,syang ung NVidia ko,supported pa nmn sya ng DVI.wala tlgang ksamang DVI cable monitor ko kc sa Carrepor,Dubai ko pa nabili itong Benq monitor ko.

Check mo sir yung graphics ng LCD, kung mukha siya parang malabo, you should try to use the converter, yung sa friend ko kasi VGA cable ang kasama sa LG 19 wide na LCD nila, pero nung kinabit niya sa VGA port ng video card niya, medyo malabo eh, pero nung ginamitan namin ng converter, medyo luminaw yung mga icons, kaya nga sa manual ng video card may naka lagay dun na to use the DVI port pag lCD ang gamit. By the way sir, taga san ba kayo? Kasi kung malapit lang kayo, I could give you my converter, Kasi diba nasira na yung video card ko...hehe. God bless.

kung ready ka naman gumastos para sa DVI cable...try Monster DVI cables...nakakatakot nga lang ang presyo pang monster talaga..
