my 13" K/Z hihats na inverted. yung z sa itaas,den yung k sa ilalim. naimpluwensyahan ako ni carter beauford. i use to have a pair of k's pero when i saw a single used 13" Z sa local music shop namin,
buy ko sya agad at ipinares ko sa K top ko! i'm satisfied with the sound naman malutong kasi! kala ko bibigay yung K sa ilalim pero d naman. i'm using it for 4 yrs na.

right now i own 13" aax fusion hats (got this baby from jun_balaraw), panalo din ito!!!

i also have 14" new beats and 12" special recording hats, but i don't like them as much as the other 4 i mentioned above.

the only hi hat i have known is the B8 pro 14" i got back in 1996.

other hats ive tried are below it ... so i really dont know what a good hi hat sounds like, hehe. and to think they that the b8 pro is an entry level product... i wonder what those "real" hi hats sound like.

im a bassist who is buying drum gear lately cause i realize slapping is a lot of fun with a good drummer playing on good equipment, hehehe....

Im currently using 14" A Custom Mastersound, the best for my ear so far, but im still looking for a particular sound that only exist in my head...can't describe it in words but i'll know once i hear it..... gritty, hissy,...tssp! tssp! kiss! 13" A Custom Mastersound with airvent is very close to it, i guess.

hmmmmm new beats ive tried and kinda like it. but most drummers use it.

Quick beats tried it from a friends kit and sounder really nice..

AAX stage are crisp, loud and cuts through good

AAX metal good load, crisp din and cuts through
