I got the "second gen" version of the CDR King action cams, yung sobrang daming nirelease after ung SJ4000 copy nila. Bought it only because the parentals wanted something to use for their sissy rafting activity. I tested it out and it has a pretty high EV, overexposing a lot of stuff in regular lighting. It does shine as a nighttime dash/helmet cam. Not shaky like the CDR King SJ4000 copy but it does exhibit rolling shutter when the body which the camera is attached to moves too quickly (as in when you're in the rapids).
I also tried it during the last Urbandub concert. Colors are washed out as fck because of the high EV so don't even try bringing it to a concert unless you're after the "fun" audience facing footage. The sound is horrible, trebley, as if you killed the bass and mid knobs and dimed the treble of your amp. Putting on the case evens out the response, but it's just like turning down the treble knob but your bass and mids are still dead.
It only comes with three mounts, which is fine by me (strap mount (flat base where you weave a strap in), pole mount (parang clamp partng clamp arm ng drum hardware), suction windshield mount). The interface is horrible though, as it's touch based and guess what you can't do that while in the waterproof case. You're stuck to one mode (pic, video, or dash cam) and you can only start, stop, or turn on and off the unit; until you take the damn thing out of the case.
Good: great nighttime action cam, lasted up to three hours on and off, can be mounted on tripod with or without the waterproof case
Bad: too high exposure, horrible audio, can't change modes while in waterproof case
Great for: dash cams, helmet cam, bike cam, guitar cam, drum cam, scandal cam, found footage.
Not great for: concerts, actual filming.
