FYI props to Bitoy "Toybitz" Milan for the great solid groove...  I hardly see hard hitters with groove.

Steve Jordan is a hard hitter. He definitely has groove. Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine/ Audioslave) is a hard hitter and he is probably one of the most groove heavy contemporary rock drummers out there.

Yeah those are just the few groovy hard-hitters I know.  Of course Brad Wilk counts in my book.

What you need is amps that can cut through the mix so your bandmates won't complain.  Vocalist needs a good PA and some good cut-throat skills...
