may bad effects ba talaga ung mga magnetic locks ng cellphone casings? :?
people say that can drain or even destroy batteries, damage sd,mmc,etc.. memory cards and lcd screens

It makes sense. Magnets should be kept away from the sim card and/or memory card as far as i know.
Yun nga lang, is that magnet powerful enought to affect these components through the phones' plastic casing? (and assuming na yung magnet sa leather holster.. 'through leather & plastic?'  :-D)

jan nasira yung speakers ng xda 2 ko e...yung original leather case kasi nila naka tapat yung magnet sa speaker kaya minsan nawawala yung sound ng fone ko...napansin ko lang nagwowork na ulit pag tinatanggal ko sa leather case...kaya ayun tinago ko na lang...
