We (Avatar/inkslingerx) as your comrade shared secret experience and never fail to keep-on giving advise to those unsatisfied with their GT but to no avail.... We even offer and gave you our time to check it out so as to experience too but gave up that chances. What is a half or a whole one day spent for our GT10 naman...For a while I thought we're all happy and satisfied with our GT10... For a while,,,,,,,

I don't get cocked wah problem... yan palagi sinasabi nila sa GT10 pero wala naman naka pagpatunay.... In Boss GTcentral forum there's a cocked wah syndrome section but no one really can identify or can give clip sample sounds of what cocked wah is....they all have different views of what it is talaga. In my view its parametric eq misused co'z it has gyrator like in metal zone and thats the nature of parametric eq vs graphic eq.

Sir how long did you use the GT10 na? It's not a plug n play multifx and lot of learning curve is needed to achieve what you need compare to others. If you don't have patience and lack of time GT10 isn't for you...we don't say it a superb unit though it can deliver what you want but not to the extreme especially high gain stuff. Have you take it out for loud live band setting? this is one of its forte...give us your feedback then...Some multifx peg out in live volume setting and they can't even mix through and cut with the band. When it comes to programmability i can assure you with in its level this unit is the most flexible and versatile of all.  Now in terms of modelling this unit isn't stand that great but it does not fail totally and digitalness is truly inherent to all multifx.

i wanna play some hardcore metal riffs
pero ang nipis talaga ng sound ng gt-10

so far ang gamit kong preamp ay ung soldano
un daw ang pinakamatinong higain preamp
i tried all ung free willy eq, resonator etc

output combo return(return ng peavey amp, i forgot it's name)
im the guy with the red guitar
i even used the resonator 3

Welcome aboard sir!  :-D

I could recall the first week I got my gt-10. It almost made me cry literally. I spent long hours of tweaking but still can't figure out my desired sound. After countless tweakings and sleepless nights, I finally got my desired tone. What I observed is that most hi-gain amp sims are useful if gain is equal to or less than 60. For some amp sims fizz is very audible above the said setting. So I would suggest to minimize your gain. And oh, equalization works wonders I tell you.

From my experince this baby requires considerable time and hardwork. So be patient in tweaking, ask hints here. Our fellas here are very helpful. Enjoy tweaking sir!  :-D

OD/DS
Type DST+
Drive 30

PREAMP
Type R-Fier Mdn
Gain 60

Did you try the FAT type on Tone Modify plus make some boost on 250hz like +3 with Q 0.5 on Para Eq. Sometime when we hear enough Fat on our patch especially using headphone might not that FAT tone in recording.
Sorry I can not distinguished the sound on your youtube and i'm interested to hear the cocked wah sounds they're saying... but i can see your having great jam on that clip. :-)

hello good people!

Welcome aboard Sir,
Ilan watts sir yon small amp nyo? Don't get me wrong ha you need as much as possible a 100watts especially sa church venue minsan kailangan pa ng backup ng PA lalo kung malaki church nyo pa. Yes if upbeat na you need to boost the patch with bigger amp kasi may headroom ka na. You'll see that GT10 is so loud with bigger amp and will not compromise your solo. I do have seperate patches for my Fender 65w and Marshall 100w not that they were different amp but because of headroom din. Nakakatuwa yon pag ginamit ko sa Yamaha parang laruan ang tunog  I suggest also to tweak your basic tone at home then adjust it to live with your drummer or band then save it seperately like Home patch and Live patch in category.
