I was really hesitant to respond to this thread for so long but I hope George "Slowhandpal" will understand and forgive me if I divulge this.

The meeting did not push through last Thursday because of two main reasons:
1. Only three persons agreed to go
2. One of George's relatives passed away suddenly on the day of the meeting itself and he has to attend to that.

I hope we can reschedule a meeting where ALL concerned can go. I'm afraid we cannot come up with something meaningful if only some will attend.

May I ask all concerned if we can agree to meet again? This time all of us will go.

sige, resched natin.  saturday might be practice day for both bands, tapos may lakad pa ako ng hapon.  sunday could possibly be a practice day for brokensauce kung wala kaming practice ng saturday.  di ko lang alam kung kaya kong magfile ng leave this friday, kasi kelangan magsabi ka 2 weeks in advance...ako din, gusto ko matuloy yung 2nd meeting ASAP...

I'm sorry if I was one of the causes for our meeting's cancellation. My last uncle on my father side and Aunt in mother side passed away magkasunod na araw.. First things first kaya pasensya.. Now they're both flown and laid to rest in our homeland Mindanao.

Since Eman is free during night time, this week na natin ituloy meeting, 6 to 8pm. Uuwi kasi kami ni Mrs sa Bicol, Sat pm ang plano nya.. November na din kasi, we have no time to waste anymore..

Next week is fine with me. Wednes to fri, either of these dates (Nov. 10 to 12, 2010). So everybody will have time to prepare and squeeze their skeds. We should not let this chance pass. I believe if we let it slip away, this Dream is over. I don't think anything would still be possible.

Perfect choice of date perhaps.  I got a call from Sir Papotz yesterday regarding our plan and he'll be on that day also most probably in headstock Bar. Better if we hold our meeting there so we can also see the place according to him. We can use the venue and the Equipment is already complete. He's got nice gear bros, amps. etc..

We should talk to Sir Papotz for more details, since of course the overhead cost is always a concern for bar owners.

We may also consider Dec. 15 since it's payday

The site is in E. Rodriguez Ave. corner Araneta Avenue.

Now at least we've got two choices at the Moment, HEadstock and the one mentioned by Sir Enzo nearby Allan's Grill Cubao Expo.

Siprahan na saan nga pala ensayo? i would like to suggest kung ok lang mga guys na hatiin natin ang ensayo isang acoustic session at electric setup para narin mas malinis at makahabol lahat. Yung acoustic set-up maybe pwede na sigurong gawin iyun sa bahay ng available na miyembro dala nalang ng gamit,amp acoustic, beatbox, tambourine, etc siyepmre kkk or patak patak sa meryenda . Mas makakatipid sa babayaran sa studio kung mag-rerent pa tayo atleast malinis na kapag sa studio na tayo at diretso tugtug nalang wala ng puro ulit at sabet kasi kamado na sa acoustic palang.

This is only my humble opinion guys please share your other suggestions.

One of you bros might have thought we're stranded in Sorsogon because of the Bulusan eruption but we we're not able to leave to visit my wife's relatives. My two year old daughter got sick last Thursday night and was confined at UMC till yesterday. Thanks be to God she's getting better now.

Been absent from the scene for days.

Anyway, our group may opt to change The Ballad of John and Yoko for another song and Sattelites may get it if Rey confirms per our text exchanges the last week. Our vocalist is having a hard time singing the way John does.

How about the other bands? Can we hear any development from All Star & Garrage Bands? WE can help each other, we only have to communicate per sir Bryan's previous admonitions.

regarding the garage band...we are having some lineup problems.  AWOL yung vocalist namin (he even cancelled his facebook account, apparently) while our lead guitarist, who's also with brokensauce, had to back out due to personal reasons.  so now we are a power trio without a vocalist...

we might opt to go acoustic, but these gremlins of lineup change (somehow, i always use this term) are multiplying in the rain...sana maayos namin ito so we can resume practice (and i do mean practice) next week, after brokensauce's long weekend where we'll be gigging and recording...
