I like using a two ply head on the batter side and a single ply clear head on the resonant side... regardless of the brand.. if it would be remo, i'd use clear emperors and clear ambassadors, if it would be evans then i'd use clear G2's and clear G1's, if it's aquarian Super II's on the batter and classic clears on the resonant side... I normally like clears but for aquarian i like my toms to be coated... so it would be a coated super II vs. classic clears... hehe
