I don't worry much about my guitar's intonation since di naman ako papalit palit ng gauge ng string, I only stick with 9's.

OT: Dude, astig nung demo na ginawa mo para dun sa shredhead ni markv, binookmark ko nga eh, anyway gusto ko siya pag-aralan for trip trip lang, may tabs and record of the backing track ka? Tinatamad akong kumapa eh.. PM mo nalang ako, haha.  :-D

Alright! Apir!  :-D

I can intonate a guitar all day, wag mo lang papagalaw yun truss rod. Takot ako.  :-D
i dont think nakokompensate ang angle ng neck with the floating trem.

Another thing, uhm I need suggestions kasi, what particular model would you suggest if I want a guitar with a fixed bridge and good pickups, HSH setting if possible, nalilito na kasi ako sa dami ng RG models.

Thanks

try checking the RT series ng ibanez. yun talagang mukang strat.

I think dahil sa durability nung earlier trem models.

Yep that's true. Durability talaga ang issue ng ZR trem.

Even if I was gassing for an S570, I was so skeptical to get one because of that known issue regarding the ZR trem.. even if I have no plans of being a wild trem user.

...so I bought a fixed-bridged Ibanez instead.

Btw, the SV5470F Prestige is PURE GAS!

they are good for what you pay for. i'd rather buy these than d'addarios any day. these feel organic but if you want that elixir type coated feel use MusiciansGear strings they feel the same out of the box, these d'arco by martin is what i like, nothing else..not because they are $1.49 a set but they work well for my guitars even my suhr

Decided to change the look of my Ibby RT150, im going for the classic look with chrome hardware and all alnico pickups, why im at it i just like to show the good craft of the old ibbys

alder body

quarter-sawn maple neck

with brass insert(instead of wood)

here it is waiting for the new pups(artec giovanni & bezdez $9 alnico single coil), after being polished with turtlewax(body only)

the switch is a fender style 5 way switch(4 opposing poles) instead of the inline poles(no sonic/tone difference really, its just my thing now)

it has a push/pull tone pot for a plan to use a guthrie govan type switching on this(hopefully i get a response from dimarzio how to do it with a standard switch by means of jumper wires)

wilkinson vintage style trem, push-in trem arm

look how big that trem block is

headstock wax and shine with meguiars(has alittle coating to it..i like!)

ofcourse got to have sung-il locking tuners(direct drop in replacement)

while i did this, i changed my j.customs strings(d'arco by martin strings)

for a pretty thing, i dont know why it gets hated so much by that other forumite

Thanks!

Reminds me of a Gio sa totoo lang.
IMO lang, mas maganda yung RG1421F:
