Based sa mga nabasa kong reviews kc, yung demon pwede daw maging auto switch(ala badhorsie) or manual switching (ala crybaby--pwedeng din maiwan halfway naka buka ang pedal) just by flipping the lever sa side.

@phoenix_rising
Curious lang po, yung bad hoursie po ba pwedeng maiwan halfway ang pedal?

Sad to say the bad horsie only goes up and down dahil sa spring. ang crybaby alam ko...may wah rin sila na walang pot, parang bad horsie rin, pero normal rocking motion and pwede maiwan halfway.

hmm.. how about if you still step on it halfway, will you still get that sound? parang nagagas ata ako dito ah haha.. pero i have to try 535q, 95, dime, zakk, morley classic and this bad horsie haaayyyyy

I use a BH-2 and it rocks.

535qs are super nasal...... for me sobra ang pagka wah. ...di mo na marinig ang mga nota.

listen to my BH-2

i agree on this one. well, the 535q is great for modern sounds, but when you start playing hendrix and jimmy page...

i prefer my dunlop gcb-95 than my dunlop 535q...

i had a BH-2 before and it rocks coz:

1. It works great with dirt pedals.

2. I like the boost para sa mga accent notes.

3. Built like a tank.

4. Pot-less so no scratchy sound.

5. Auto by-pass, pakawalan mo lng and by-pass na. unlike dunlop/vox wah na kelangan mo pa apakan yung switch at minsan may poping sound pa.

6. you can almost get the sound of an envelope filter sa dali mag toe down.

although i love this pedal meron din naman down side ito:

1.wala siyang mid sweep which is what im really looking for in a wah.

2. the contour knob doesnt make any significant contribution coz i can barely notice the changes in the sweep. (or maybe its just my untrained ears).

3. The casing itself is built like a tank, but once the pivotal point of the wah gets f***ed up... damay narin yung LDR (sensors). hindi naman sa masisira yung LDR but the alignment of the "flippers" (which serves as a gate of signals between 2 perfectly aligned LDR's). and pag nangyari yun mag bby-pass kagad yung BH kahit nakatoe down ka.

4. if yung LDR mo yung nasira. you have to get the parts shipped from us para lng maayos yan as compared to the convenience of getting a regular pot.

I hope my review can help you in some way or another... goodluck! :-)

Ibanez WH10 for me. Very nice vocal wah... versatile and even have the toggle for Bass Guitar that can do really LOW wah sounds.

Pa-chime in lang. Agree with all your other points except this one. The LDR is generic and can be bought at Deeco. Cheap. On the other hand, the long life pots of pot-based wahs, if you don't find them at audiophile, have to be shipped in from the US. And they're expensive, at about $20 a pop, plus shipping, duties and taxes :D . And those pots, even if they are long-lifed supposedly, will only serve you give or take, five years, tops, before you'll need to replace them again. Baka nga 2 years pa lang scratchy na naman yun.

blues/rock po ang tugutan ko. Pero i'd like to do some experimentation.hehe Kaya gusto ko sana  a versatile wah (pwedeng pang blues, hardrock)
Yung sa setup ko naman, I'm still in the process of completing it pa

ganun ba sir jobet?  :-D

if i remember correctly, kasi meron din forumer na ganun yung problem and pina-ayos niya yung BH-2 niya sa isang nag momod ng pedals at di daw maayos kasi yung parts (LDR) daw eh wala dito sa pinas at ipapaship pa daw from the us at mahal daw. so mga 3 weeks daw naka upo yung BH-2 nya dun sa nag mmod... (so mukhang na memera lng yung nag aayos :?) so dun ko nakuha yun idea na yun. luckily nung na ayos nyo yung BH-2 ko sinabi ko rin sa kanya so nagkaron siya ng idea pano remediohan.  :-D

hindi na loose tread yung bhorsie ko, mga 5 or 6 years abused na siya sa akin and it works perfectly, no scratchiness.

that means maingat ka sa gamit mo mico at ako barubal hehehe!

@pelipeplips
yah ganun yung naging problem ko. ganito analogy ko jan. lets say may tama yung tuhod mo so tendency is habang nag lalakad ka may lumalagutok.

ganun yung nangyaari sa bh-2 ko everytime i rock the wah. parang may nagshi-shift na hindi ko maintindihan tapos biglang nag bby-pass. but then i want to stress... yun yung naging experience ko sa BH-2... but for most of the forumers here who uses badhorsie wala silang issues na ganun. nasa gumagamit n lng siguro yun kung tatagal yung BH-2 or not. but over all ill give it a 9/10  :-)

wow this thread is very helpful!!!

used to own a dunlop hendrix fuzz wah, which i tried out side by side with a vox and the vox won hands down.

I play blues/classic rock rin pala btw, bro.

i found that it the vox has more um, "wah" into it. mas maganda ung Q nya. it's hard to explain since I'm not too much of a guitar player with the terms hehehe

I tried a weeping demon yesterday at a show and it's awesome. I even told myself I'd like to get one of those. I especially love the auto on function.

Though I have yet to hear bout the potless dunlops and i think they also have a model which has auto on.

sorry for the late reply.. hhmmm.. pwede kang mag 535q. medyo versatile yan. but dont take my word that much! remember, ikaw pa din ang makakapag sabi kung ano maganda sa tenga mo. 535q naman kc, marami kang magagawa so kung gus2 mo nga mag experiment, eh you wont be stucked on one sound. ayt? goodluck!

yung morley wahs "true tone" bypass then yung budwah hardwire bypass. what does this mean? crybaby wahs don't say anything about bypass.

mas ok ba yung hardwire kesa dun sa true tone? haaayyyyyy GAS nga naman

vox wah pa din ako. panalo ang sweep, malagkit, at pasok kahit sa distortion. i compared a vox v847 and a crybaby gcb 95, mas nagccut thru yung wah effect ng vox kesa sa crybaby. haven't tried a BH and a WD7 though. mukhang ok din siguro yung mga yun. gusto ko yung auto on/off feature.
