managed to buy two guitars during this long weekend japan vacation.

first up is a cringedfest rg1702. na hardcore ng airline.

my bad as i did not wrap it well. nasa gigbag lang and hoped for the best lols! i plan to have it repaired.

second is a beat up rg8527 with some ghetto mojo. not that bad for Y47000. ill have this restored.

the damage on the prestige is a hard fix. It tore of the f*cking maple cap. Damn. What airlines?

our very own cebupac. already complained but i doubt they'll do anything about it. talked to a couple of luthiers and said its fixable but there will be hairline traces of the joined wood. good thing the broken wood with is intact and not shards of wood. another solution is to remove the maple cap and replace it with a new one. still waiting for a estimate on labor and refinish cost.

as for the j custom yes pretty much a steal but its beat up. especially the back. needs a restoration badly. but onced its done, i think it'll come out good minus the hardware condition. got both at a local pawnshop hard off in akihabara. i frequent these stores alot when im in japan you never know what you might find there.
