Dotted 8ths are lot easier to use if you are using a track on CDs, etc., but in live, a doubt if you can perfected it with your drummer. That is why you need a tap tempo to get in touch w/ your drummer.
this is with tap tempo ( i learned it here in the forum)
If you are in a 100ms at 4/4 beat, the key IMHO is to have an 8th note value that comes in before the beat 4 (1 and 2 and 3 and 4). When you tap that in, you have it tap right before the end of a meter.
In the setting with a tap tempo
Delay time- doesn't matter because your using a tap tempo
repeats - I usually set it up around 11:00 or whatever preferences.
Mix - 1:00
Swell effects doesn't matter, depends on your preferences
remember this is for those who doesn't have a dotted 8th note in their delays..
...it's a good thing I'm using the TC Nova delay 'cause this has a built-in .8th note settings hehehe
