Here's a tip para hindi kayo ma-AyaYuson! Dump IE (it's pretty dumb anyway) and use Firefox 2.0 as your browser. This has a built-in spell check as you type. If it doesn't spell check when you type in the forum text entry box, right click and make sure the "spell check this field" selection is checked. There ya go.

As for Amy Winehouse, I have that album - she's a pretty good Brit soul singer but I wonder if the appeal of the songs is her voice or the retro, old-timey production. I end up admiring her producer with every track. Would Amy have had the same appeal with a slick, modern production sound? I say no, no, no.

Well, i'm not intending to say it with a negative connotation. I mean, it's the first time i've heard of her, yet she sounds very traditional. Or I don't know. That's how I hear her. But she's good, parang gusto ko siya makita. Browse nga ako sa google.

Will have to agree with Jim on this one. Although I admire Amy's work (shoot, when I was in Manila I had to purchase the Back To Black CD again only because I wanted the tracks on the bonus disc which didn't come out in the US), much of the credit has to go to Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson, especially since the latter got the idea of using The Dap Kings as her backing band.

If you want the real deal, may I recommend listening to The Dap Kings in their natural environment with their real vocalist, Sharon Jones? 100 Days, 100 Nights was all but ignored last year when this should've been the one most folks have been listening to.
