zoom g1x suddenly squels

hey guitar afficionados!

need some help here! I have a zoomg1x , RJ rokker and unbranded 10 watt amp.
I was playing yesterday and while strumming,sound squeled like crazy, checked the settings in zoom  still the same. at ang weird pa dito kahit 0 yung volume ng amp me tunog pa ren! wahhhh

reset to factory defaults ung zoom, still the same.. sa clean ok pero sa distortion nagbabago volume, annoyingly loud then mapuputol..

could it be the guitar? or is it my zoom is just fried???

let me know especially zoom users! who might have experienced this.  Thanks!

Eliminate the Zoom from the chain first. Plug in straight to the amp. Play at different volume levels. Is it squealing?
Yes? Its most likely the amp.
No? Connect the Zoom back. Is it squealing?
Yes? Its the Zoom. Have it checked.

thanks sir yup na isolate ko na ren -kinabit ko guitar straight to  amp..ok naman

geez wala ng warranty zoom ko wahhh! cnu marunong mag ayus ng zoom?hehe
