So to lang kailangan mo download after mag format ng pc... If your WinXp includes SP2 na, ang 2nd install mo ang yung anti virus mo to be safe and sure when you go online for your hardware drivers. Pero pag wala pang SP2 yung WinXp installer, better install muna SP2 before Anti-Virus.

Check # 5: Which is your motherboards brand and model...baka kasi yung soundcard mo on-board na, also baka meron bundled installer for your motherboard para hindi ka na ma mahirapan mag download ng mga on-board drivers.

About your modem, it shows "SoftV92 Data Fax Modem", meaning plug and play yun, pero if you want to optimize your modem, try to look at your modem.

Note: When you look for your drivers, make sure you save it or burn it in a cd, so you'll have a backup of your drivers for your pc.

NTFS (New Technology File System): FAT (File Allocation Table)

It is recommended that you use NTFS when you are using a XP OS, Yung FAT kasi sa windows 98/SE pa yan...so kung mag format ka next time, use NTFS na...kahit yung bakup HD mo NTFS mo narin, pero better Bakup important files muna.

pwede ka ding mag low level formatting.. gawa ka ng boot disc sa winXP, then magboot ka sa floppy disk( boot disk ) para makapunta ka ng DOS, then dun ka magformat. e.g format C:

ang gagaling ng mga tao dito... ntfs is the newer format and fat32 is the older format. imo if i'm going to use the type of format go with the ntfs kasi minsan may issue sa compatibility ng files and iba din ang paghandle ng windows sa mga errors, mas stable din sya kesa sa fat32. if your going to use winxp syempre dun ka na sa mascompatible sa kanya atsaka if your planning to use vista mas compatible ito.

nope...i still have my winxp installer..ang kelangan ko yung software na partition magic para in case na mag reformat ako ng pc(full format), eh install ko na lang PartitionMagic para dun na lang ako gagawa ng partition ng hdd.
