it has its use for that type of tone but I actually prefer the Tim and Zendrive more for smooth OD sounds and a BB preamp/ OCD for edgier stuff. di ba you have a Butler tube driver? i think the Jetter blue was meant to emulate the marshall+tube driver sounds that EJ gets from that rig but for what it is, it gets pretty close to my ear. the demos online that i referred to was pretty useful and are spot on to give you an idea.

I got tired of the tube driver.... I got an ethos to smoothen out all my od pedals.

ah, then you are all set:) i am thinking about getting an Ethos to use with my Mark 1 and Dr.Z. apparently, the smoothness if this gadget is well worth the price of admission. the zendrive and eternity, i thought, were pretty smooth sounding pedals and pretty much everyone i've talked to who has used it says it can run circles around those pedals and then some. ikaw? unsa'y take nimo ani? tinuod gyud nga maayo o bulay-og?

get the ethos.... that pedal has super powers...it can smoothen out all of my od pedals....really odd. It's the most osamest peedal een mai booord. hehehe

dude it's part of the backing track he is playing along to. An octaver cannot do that...you need a harmonizer. The best one is Digitech's Harmony Man...but still it sounds digital.
