steel or nylon? are you going to use it for gigs or just at home?

i bought an ibanez acoustic before, below 5k pa ata noon, and i liked it, kelangan lang talaga i set up ng maayos.

lower the bridge saddle, change the nut and saddle pins, and put in a nice 12 gauge strings na bronze ata... para alive na alive ang tunog.

maganda you go to the shops and give the guitars a try, i'm sure may mapupusuan ka.

@gainsucker, mahal na ba ngayon ang ibanez sir? last time nagpunta ako sa dealer nila sa filinvest mall walang acoustic

Ito experience ko lang :

Yamaha - Decent sound, but i hate the neck.. Ang taba eh (FG series ito)

Takamine - Nice neck, medyo thin sounding pero ok na rin (D series)

Ibanez - Thin-sounding for me.. manipis talaga ewan ko bakit.. di ko gusto

Morris - Ito pinakacomfortable na neck for me and decent-sounding rin (W Series)

 
Kailangan mo lang rin talaga pa-setup yung guitar after mo makuha sir to fit your needs

in addition sa mga brands na minention na, you can also check Fernando acoustics. kailangan lang na i-check mo talaga yung condition and playability. decent naman sila for the price.

Stretch your budget a little bit. I'm seeing good reviews on D&D guitars. Barbie Almalbis uses one. Search Electrosushi on Facebook.

for 7k you can get a brand new D&D. kung 6k lang talaga budget mo then a 2nd hand Yamaha will do or tama si maxi, check out Fernandos.

I tested one of the D&Ds acoustic-electric last PAMGS 2011, maganda! compared sa Fernando ko, mas gusto ko ung D&D...
konting ipon pa para bili ka na lang ng D&D, opinion ko lang ha... try mo, sa Lazer may benta sila

I have the same acoustic. pretty good for the price but make sure you have it setup first 'cause mine came with pretty high action.
