The Boss GT-100 Appreciation Thread
« on: January 18, 2012, 08:29:27 PM »

I enjoyed their gt-10, maybe its time to level-up. Though they have'nt abandon their COSM system yet. Just hope the FIZZ & latency is cut down also on this new models. Nice dual screens also :-D

I don't see why they should abandon COSM. It's a technology that has a fairly regular upgrade cycle. It was kind of a miss in the GT-10, yes. But it's pretty good in the Roland Cubes and the Boss pedals.

The thing that I hope gets a major makeover is software support -- something that approaches the Line 6 interface would be awesome.

I really can't understand the design of the EXP pedal. I still dig the design on the GT8.

The GT-10 didn't much appeal to me when it came out. I still preferred the GT8 in terms of tweakability, interface and sound. I hope the GT100 won't disappoint.

:)

for me mas madali i-tweak yung GT10 dahil mas onti ang knobs at di nakakalito

it means graduate na ang GT10 ko....sa susunod na ako magupgrade.
yada yada yada.....

I owned a GT10 dati. Loved the effects but the amp sims, well, talong talo sya ng HD series ng L6. Sana inupgrade na nila yung COSM nila.

Must suppress the GT fanboy in me. =(

Wala na yung mga effects button? madali gamitin yun pag mag adjust ka ng setting, dito sa gt-100 parang kailangan mo pa mag scroll ng effects para ma adjust mo...

Pati sana di nila inalis yung pod wheel kasi madali gamitin yun at mabilis...

kainis...

nah...wait lang muna ako kung sino makakapagtry sa inyo and give feedbacks. ill just stick to my 10 muna

ganun din ako...functional pag may separate, individual pedals na madaling i tweak
also di ko gusto ang new design and displays...parang bumalik sa GT 6/8
so many gears....so little time

hehehe excited lahat ah, pero feeling ko fake eh. Yung display and pedal kasi parang photoshopped. I do hope Boss comes out with something new, but I hope it looks better than this :D
