Pearl Demon Drive or Tama Speed Cobra?. Which is best..

I'm not a fan of direct drives.. I bought a Speed cobra last week and it's was very nice..
The Problem for me is the frickin heavy case.. It made my arm hurt 2 days when i just carried it around moa for 1 hr.(thanks audiophile moa and sorry to moon,alam na niya un)

Nope. walang iwan and walang angat sa dalawa kase magkaiba sila. Depende sayo kung ano mas prefer mo. SpeedCobra is a chain drive and Demon Drive is a direct Drive pedal. Dyan palang may malaking pagkakaiba na kagad sila. ako mas prefer ko SC kase chain drive sya gusto ko kasi powerful yung every kick ko, unlike Direct drive pedals mabilis nga sya pero nababawasan naman yung pagkapowerful every kick kaya yung ibang direct drive pedals may mga trigggers parang axis

lately naapreciate ko na rin yung direct drives at pinakita nya sa kin sobrang honest ng feel nya. kung ano yung effort na nilagay mo, yun ang ilalabas nya. nalaman ko lang tuloy na pangit ang footwork ko hehehe

Pero in my experience mas powerful talaga ang attack ng Speed Cobra kase Ive tried SC and DD and I applied the same force of the kick to each pedal pero mas malakas tlaga ang SC. Pero sa Bilis Direct Drive talaga Ako. This is Just my personal Experience. Correct me if im wrong

what i meant to say before is that if you apply a certain amount of force on your direct drive pedal, the pedal will translate it as is without adding any power (assuming you configured everything to your liking). chain drive pedals add more power simply because of its pulley action at the cam.

Mga sir...iba approach sa bawat pedal,base sa experienced ko.. Both are goodcatch na,depende nalang sa preference ng gagamit...\m/

Compared to my iron cobra,Speed cobra was frickin louder than i used to be so it saves my energy to do household chores after my practice.. hehe
In it's factory settings,i was super happy.. hehe.. my gf got jealous because it made me forget her for a while with this pedals.. hehe..
Compared to direct drives im not a fan of it.. but one thing i loved was axis longboards(c/o Vinci) yun lang nagustuhan ko direct drive and the speed king din pala..hehe..
Simple guy lang naman ako,ayoko ng madaming things na features na dukot dyan,lagay to for a new cam.. etc..
For affordability Speed cobra is cheaper(  pero i think it's introductory price siya so buy now na before it gets to it's higher price)
I love pearl, i was drooling at the eliminator before and the demon drive but it was not my thing. players preference naman yan..
i think my pedal will really stay with me for a long time until tama made a better pedal than this one.. hehe..
For it's hardcase,it was really heavy,but i have softcase so it's ok.. i only bring one pedal in gigs.. i'm a retired metal head.. hehe..

I swear by the Speed Cobra.    Try one if you have the chance. I guess because I have a light kick... and I felt the power on the SC which I didn't get on the DD.

I'm thinking about buying a Tama speedcobra twin pedal @ audiophile, but i'm in the province so i asked a friend in manila to contact the store yesterday to inquire how much the pedal is..he was told that the speedcobra costs 16,550 and the iron cobra at around 18k+. i was thinking that the speedcobra is an upgrade to the ICs so I wasnt expecting that it will be a lot cheaper than the ICs. I'm asking you guys if  I was misformed giving me the wrong price or was it really the exact price of the speedcobra here in RP? I just checked it at an online store and it shows that the SC is more expensive than the ICs. Is anyone there who got the Speedcobras? How much did you get for it? Need help. Thanks a lot!

Na try ko na iron cobra,speed cobra,pearl demon drive. para sakin ang pinaka maganda  is ung pearl na eliminator kasi sobrang smooth ng felling pag mag slide technique ka. pero nasa gumagamit na din yan kung anong mas comfortable kayo na gamitin dun kayo wag lang ung hinahanap is porma ng pedal..
