review for the british mod:

mark!!!

hehe...the stock and the moded definitely sound differently!

IT SOUNDS EXCELLENT SA LANEY AMPS!!! or any TUBE AMPS...

pera sa LINE6 SPIDER...its a different story.

baka ganun din sa ibang SOLID STATE AMPS...

bottom line.

@tam_guitar, you're welcome bro.. any amp with a descent clean tone ok talaga yang brit mod. Ako i personally didn't like the clean tone of the spider amps...maybe that's the reason why it didn't sound that great.

@ryanlouise_t,   thanks bro.. PM or text mo lang ako pag gusto mo na magpa-modify...saglit lang yung modding so pwede ng mod-while-you-wait dito sa place ko. I have a fender tele & 2 ibanez RG's for you to test and compare your stock ds-1 to my ds-1 british mod.

sobra laki ng difference sa stock ds1. at first hesitant ako ipa-mod kahit kanino yung ds1 ko coz i really love its original tone. but after reading a lot of great feedbacks about the british mod, why not give it a try. besides, people who gave feedbacks in this thread are I believe credible people in terms of guitar tone qualities.

so finally, I gave MARKV a shot to mod my ds1...

Wahhhllllaahhh!!!! After I heard the british mod, di ko na talaga babalikan ang stock ds1.

Now, I finally realized that a stock ds1 really sounds thin.

Sobra kapal tumunog ng british mod ds1 ko ngayon and im pretty sure that this mod will last for me... (except, mabenta ang ds1 or masira ng tuluyan  :-P )

I am very satisfied with its tone. Great mids. Di na matatabunan sa gitna ng maingay na tugtugan.

With its very cheap price and very accommodative tech, talagang sulit!!!!

And the best part, may libre unlimited dvd's.  :-D

More power to MARKV and his british mod ds1.

Hopefully another DS1 ang dadalin ko sayo next week for my friend.

Hi sir,

Im interested in your DS1 Brit mod, however i dont have a ds1 as of now. Pero, i have a Boss DF2(Distortion Feedbacker) in our bodega. Puro alikabok na lang kasi ang pangit ng tunog. Puede kaya ipa brit mod to? They say almost similar ang circuitry nila. Im sure kung ma mod ito madami pa iba magpapamod ng maalikabok nilang DF2.
