I'm very satisfied with his work. Before i went to Sir Jun my strings break easily especially when i lift my guitar using the floydrose. After bringing it to Sir Jun... The rest is history. I found the guy who will take care of my baby. :-)

I use an Ibanez Universe UV7BK. Sir Jun went from intonation, neck and saddle adjustments, pick up pole pieces adjustments to pot cleaning. Every string was balanced (volume, measurement and tone). Sorry but this is the closest pic i can give you with regards to the strings and pole pieces. I hope this helps.

i'm a very satisfied customer of Mang Jun. Minsan nga naaasar ako kasi lagi nalang nasa spotlight si max, arie at elegee while mang jun remains in the humble backdrops. Kahet bihira ko puntahan si mang jun, i still run to him with all my guitar needs and he knows my guitars very well. I'm very pleased nga kasi he knows me personally din and knows my preferences kaya i dont know anyone else that i can trust when in comes to my guitar work.

spongcola, ely buendia, the guys from updharma and urbandub go to him too.
eto youtube nya oh.
he's been featured on TV na.
feature=related
hahahahah he's a very cool and friendly guy

went to him before, pero ang hirap lang talagang puntahan ng lugar nya. mas hiyang talaga ako sa elegee and mas mabilis ang elegee sa mga setups- in most cases pwede mong hintayin nalang. i dont know kung busy lang si mang jun noon, but my setup took over a week. roadtone cost me more than elegee too, pero of course, depende sa gitara yan.

preference ko din siya kasi ang lapet ng roadtone sa bahay namin. but oo nga mejo mahirap puntahan ang shop nya. just like arie's you have to go there with a friend na alam ang shop niya or else maliligaw ka! hahahaha i've been there many times na but on my first two times naligaw ako and i had to call up mang jun's cell for directions  :-o

as for the time it takes for him to get things done, he takes his time nga. if you tell him naman that you really need it ASAP, i'm sure he'll consider pushing it up his list and texting you the moment he finishes your guitar. :-)

I'm a satisfied customer too. Very humble person and pulido ang gawa.

i personally maintain my guitars pero pag di ko kaya gawin or would take me more time, ke mang jun ko nalang pinapagawa. i remember when he used to say that my cheapo strat sounds better than my favorite MIJ ibanez. it took me many years before I realized what he said was true. kaya dun sa mga nagpapagawa,  listen to him very well when he make comments/recommendations during inspection of your guitar, the inspection is free anyways. you can always tell him what your needs are and deferred some of the work that he recommends.

these 3 were all setup by him. the wiring, intonation, everything!

i'll post some pics of my two other guitars (all lefties) soon. Good guy and very down to earth! Even bumped into some bigtime local rockers a couple of times when I brought my gear there. :-D Even got a couple of Roadtone shirts that Mang Jun gave to me last christmas.!

very humble yan si mang jun. mabait pa. :-)

I'm planning on re-opening the Roadtone website this April. Abangan niyo na lang if you like at:

http://www.roadtoneguitars.com

Sa totoo lang, I don't think he needs the advertisement anymore.

He! He! He! He's the only one who takes care of my guitars since alam na niya yung preferred na set-up ko.

Yea i asked people from yupangco and JB music, sakanya ako dinidirekt if di nila kaya yung guitar work.

It's nice din na mareestablish yung site para more will patronize his work.
nakakatuwa din yung sketch pic nya hahahah

Not necessarily an advertisement para makilala siya. We all know na kilala na siya. Siguro it'll be much better if someone will be posting his location map nalang instead, as for me na gusto ring makapunta sa shop niya.
We had a location map in the old website and will still be included in the revised version.

You wont regret it

+1. all my guitars go through him. happy with his work. don't mind the price. but for people who use soft cases, thick padded or not, do yourself a favor and buy hard cases. it's a pain to bring it but it will really do it's job, protecting your guitar and keeping it's state as is way better than soft cases. he told me this years ago. he was right.

+10000000000000000000000000

Hindi niya kase minamadali yung trabaho and it takes time rin kase madami nagpapasetup eh.
