i own one. it's been my main pedal since. di na to aalis sa board ko. i use my demonizer as a preamp sa gigs, meaning sa fx return ako kumakabit. kung titignan mo yung likod ng demonizer, may 2 outputs siya, one is the regular output, and the other is the DI box output with a 4x12 speaker sim. dito ko sa DI out kumakabit. mas maganda tunog in my ears.

anyways ngayon, balik tayo sa normal na pagkabit ko. pag gigs, DI out-fx return ng amp (SS). nawawala yung fuzziness kasi nga naka-speaker sim from the DI out. ngayon yung 4x12 sim, kahit sa 10' speaker ako kumabit ang napapalaki niya yung tunog. nasubukan ko na ring kumabit sa PA sa isang gig. as expected, ang ganda ng performance kasi FRFR (full-range-frequency-response) yung PA di ba? kaya litaw na litaw yung tapang nung speaker sim. kaso ang problema, wala akong monitor nun! ang hirap! saka kakaiba pa rin yung feel na alam mong sa likod mo nanggagaling yung tunog, at hindi sa PA na asa kisame nakakakabit. one note pala pag naka-DI out, yung off pedal acts as a mute button. something to do with impedance issues kaya nagiging ganun ang silbi niya. ngayon, technically iisa na lang ang timpla mo, since hindi na pwedeng clean (off) - at (on) disto mode di ba? more on that later.

review ko naman yung controls niya. standard level, disto knob. compressor knob - adds compression therefore may added gain at noise rin. sa mga extreme metal players, pag tinodo yung drive knob medyo mabibitin kayo sa gain. this pedal sounds like an amps disto, hindi dist pedal with an insane amount of gain like a MT2 kaya ganun talaga ang magiging tunog ng gain niya.  kelangang i-on yung compressor if you want additional gain. pero personally, sabi ko rin above na ayaw ko nung tunog maliit at compressed kaya hinay-hinay lang talaga ko sa paggamit. pag necesary lang talaga.
PRE EQ knobs: outer - freq, inner boost/cut. ang weird ng explanation sa manual kung mababasa niyo. pero think of it as this, para siyang OD pedal (set as booster) na sinaksak sa loob ng demonizer. kaso ang controls lang na magagalaw mo yung tone knob ng OD pedal. kaso ginawang parametric para mas versatile. imagine a SD1-MT2 combo, tumataba yung MT2 o numinipis depende sa timpla ng SD1 before the MT2, ganun yun.
POST EQ knobs: outer- scoop, inner -treble. etong scoop ang puso ng tunog ng demonizer. pinaka-main tone shaping control niya. full CCW marshally sound, full CW scooped metal sound just to give you an idea. treble knob - ginagamit ko lang to for fletcher munson effect stuff. usually naka 12:00-12:30 na lang to pag gig levels. pero pag bedroom levels naka 3-4:00.
nuclear on - gives 20dB boost. eto ang bad trip sa demonizer. sana na lang ginawa nilang variable boost from 0db to 20db. leche. kasi pag ginamit mo tong demonizer as a clean preamp, hindi mo na pwede magamit yung nuclear on dahil sobrang laki ng 20 dB boost. pag initially set to crunchy-disto lang useable ang nuclear on.

mabalik, wala na akong clean sound techincally di ba? ngayon dito nag-sshine ang demonizer. super responsive siya. konting galaw ng guitar vol knob, may noticeable change kaagad sa gain ng pedal. so i can have 3 sounds kaagad: nuclear on - disto, nuclear off - crunch, nuclear off + roll vol knob - clean. dami pang in between sounds dun. yung clean pag light picking tapos habang nilalakasan ang picking nagkaka-drive kayang kaya rin nitong pedal. ganun ka-responsive.

Ye.

sushified metal zone or hm100 versatile kasi if u lower the gain it becomes an extremely good tube sounding overdrive
pag high gain sobrang clear and crisp

and it is very cheap to get because a boston hm100 is only 1k here at the forum and sir bamf's mod=500 lng so wala ka talagang talo..

sir ang difference nila is ung bakemono sushified din pero mas versatile kasi dinagdagan ng switches and knobs may morph knob added bass knob tapos ung switches nya kaya gumawa ng tube screamer etc over angas.. ito ang mas maganda pa palang version ng sushified mt2

ung sushified mt2 naman one mode lng pero over angas.. kung versatility habol mo go for the bakemono metal zone

dami kasi nagtatanong about dist pedal, hope this thread helps in your search for your tone, sorry for resurrecting this.

To sum up my search for my metal pedal, i did get an uber metal, why?

DOD/DIGITECH DEATHMETAL,METAL MASTER,DF7= walang gain option, which can add to the pedal's versatility, although i never tried one of these.
GT2=MMMMAAAAAHHHHHAAAAL!!!!!!

Kaya sakto lang ako sa uber metal, which ang gamit ko ngayon sa gig, isang pedal lang, hindi maingay and may option ka baguhin un character ng dist because of model switch function.Sabi nga sa reviews "metalzone killer"

Eto ang gamit ko ngayon, which safe kong sabihin na satisfied ako, but i know hindi dito natatapos ang paghahanap at pag try ko ng ibat ibang dist.

i'll go for a modded MT-2 but belive it or not.. i've used zoom 707II multi, set it on cabinet module type 6 STK (Stack), did some tweaking, set the gain depth via pedal, used mesa boogie & marshall cabinet amps, set the best mid tone, and presto!!! it'll blow the crowds ears and it does the job well. very good for palm muting riffs..
