its ok. ive had a rooted LG Optimus One before. the only good thing about having a rooted unit is that is gives you access to almost everything you would want to change in the system. with the use of an app i downloaded from the market, i immediately disabled the boot animation and some settings that i was not able to access before.
and i know this is illegal, but it also allows you to download .apks from torrent which you could only install on rooted units.
any apps or tweaks I should get when I get rooted?

I think meron na update to JB pero check with them pa sir na baka ICS parin gamit nila
