would it be great if someone would make a movie about the heads?? this interest me a lot this days..
it started with that movie "The Reunion" i really thought the movie was about the life of the heads but unfortunately it was not..
i think the project of making a movie out of them is not that bad, tingin ko kakagatin ng mga tao toh and it would be a real blockbuster film.. pang box office! i really wish some film producers would sort this out someday!

ok lang naman. pero mas maganda siguro sir pag gagawin ang movie as an indie production. ok lang kahit hindi pang-box office ang dating, baka maging OA lang kung sikat ang magdi-direk. meron na po akong napanood na ganito dati. indie film about sa struggles at success ng The Dawn tsaka kung paano po sila nag cope up si Sir Jett Pangan nung namatay si Mr. Teddy Reyes.

im not sure if an e-heads movie would be a good idea... it seems to me, the heads are a bunch of introverts and would rather just play music rather and keep their lives private.

I can somewhat agree to this. Naging classmate ko si Marcus Adoro once (not his first time in UP, it was during his 'second coming', around 2009 I think) and tahimik na tao talaga siya. But one time he was in our tambayan and he saw a guitar, man he opened up like a can! He really expresses himself through music

Yes of course...Once nagtry kaming magbigay ng demo tape kay Buddy Zabala dun pa yun sa Teacher's Village..Maalalahanin St..Cutterpillow na Album na nila nun..pero napa simple at down to earth ni Sir Buddy,,mas ok kung pipili ng artistang gaganap na bagay sa katauhan nila..

Para kasing hindi sapat ang isang pelikula para sa Heads e. At medyo hindi na maganda kung magkakaroon pa ng sequels. :)
Pero it's a challenge ha, Paano mo gagawin ang isang Eraserheads film? :)

movie is too broad. lets specify it.
id want a documentary. not a movie where someone else will portray them. magiging parang episode ng MMK yun.
a documentary would be terrific. but i think its too early for it, just like it was the tribute album. since they became famous in the early 90s, creating a less than impressive (e.g. Paolo Santos' version of Magasin and Rico J's Huling El Bimbo with the cheap string orchestration at the end) tribute album less than a couple of decades after made it hilaw.
the guys are still relatively young and still very much active in the scene. there are still a lot of stuff that could develop over the years.
but i think they should start now. gathering old footages, photos and interviews.
i think this project deserves careful attention and production coz the band deserves it because they are undeniably the most influential band in the Philippines. sure they can think of making money too but this documentary can serve a lot of purpose. parang bala sa baril, they can release it when they might need to revive the local scene and inspire our local bands and that generation to give birth to a band they will remember when they grow old, just the Eheads will always be for us.

Commercial-type film? No. Documentary-style ala-Wasting Light by Foo Fighters? YES!. old photos, old footages, stories, first bands, musical influences and all those good stuff... but for me, they still have to top off their reunion concert years ago with a much better one and it would be like their ultimate,ultimate concert ever, that would serve as the "ending" or the culminating event of the documentary. I think that it would sell not just for hardcore Eheads fans but also to those who haven't discovered them yet.. It would inspire a LOT of the younger musicians today for sure.. but it has to be really really good and in HD too. hehehe. :-D

a 90's band explosion theme movie or a docu about the era pwede ba siguro.
so its like how the thrash scene was killed by grunge in the US. dito pwede mo gawin how the bands flourished and how the scene boomed and died. to give birth to the hupaw generation.

but I'd love to see a documentary on how Eraserheads spawned other hallmark bands they went into, starting with Cambio.
and directed by Marie Jamora.
