There will be a Pinoy Rock   Show at 105.9 FM at 12 Noon tomorrow sunday....test broadcast pa lang.................

Kaya pala di ko naramdaman yung "lots of pinoy rock na classis".

Nakinig ako kahapon ng tanghali napakinggan ko Mcgiver.Bago pala yun (kanta yata ng E-heads yun)
Nung midnight Mcgiver ulit. Bago yun E-heads ulit.

Siguro nga talaga test broadcast pa lang.  :-) :-)

Basta hihintayin ko yung maayos na.

ALang masagap na signal ang radyo ko mula sa LA 105.9 siguro sira radyo ko..... :-D o kea malabo talaga signal... Sino po ba mga DJ dun? (OffTopic: Ayos lang ba sa inyo kung mapalipat si MO sa LA?)

its funny how i just "rescued" my LA 105.9 ALBUM from my dead tape deck earlier this week. i only started listening to it again yesterday.. made me wonder whatever happend to them?
only reason i signed up on here, was to ask what the fck happened to DJ CARLOS, THE DOCTOR and THE GHOST??? all i remember was waking up, tuned my radio to LA, and there was nothing. . ? i switched to NU107 and never looked back. i did hear rumours as to why LA105 went off air, but left phils soon after and never really found out. its hard to believe that was well over 10yrs ago..

what did happen to LA105??  :? :? :? :? :?

naalala ko before L.A. 105 completely went off air, parang nag palit pa sila ng format eh for ilang months din. mga pinapatugtog nila mga dance music mainstream pop hehe akala ko nga nasa kool 106 ako eh pala L.A. 105 parin  :-D

Radio station siya na patok na patok nung 90's. Very supportive sa local rock scene dahil halos puro OPM rock ang tinutugtog. Bands that would otherwise have been ignored by other mainstream radio stations got ample airplay on LA.

If I remember correctly, sila rin yung tanging station nung panahon na 'yun na may lakas ng loob magpatugtog ng Slayer atbp.  :evil:

The only bad thing about it then was some of it's DJ's were sobrang anti-hip-hop and didn't mince words even on the air. Hiphop was sort of the "emo" of the 90's IMHO, linalait at minamaliit ng mga "metal" at "rocker" back in the day. Resulta: rumble sa megamall at kung saan saan. Weird 'no? Nag-uupakan dahil magkaiba lang ang hilig sa music?

hahaha! naalala ko nung grade 6 ako, yung dj sa la 105 sinabi on air "hiphops are condemned to hell",message ng isang listener! kaya nag aaway away ang mga tao e..  :-D

nung time na yun, patok na patok yung top 40 shirts, tapos trenta trenta lumakad mga barkada nun at pareho pareho silang naka black na metallica, nirvana or pearl jam shirts  :-D

sa mga nag pasa ng ng demo nila sa 105.9 RJ underground,

ilang weeks/months bago nyo narinig song nyo sa radio?

saka ano pangalan ng band nyo and yung song, para alam ko na pag narinig ko songs nyo  8-)
