Ill go for the Mazda. Japanese cars are usually more reliable than American cars.

between the two, sa Focus ako. medyo bummer din na puro automatic yata mga trannies ng mga Mazda3. i love manual.
pero kung among all compact sedans, sa Altis siguro ako. hehehehe. impressive fuel efficiency.

mas mura yung lowest model ng focus kesa sa lowest model ng mazda3. not sure about their top of the line variants, though.

for me naman mas OK ang mazda, kasi mas bagay sya sa syudad, kung pangarera naman, ok ang ford, mas kilala to sa rally, pumapalag to sa mga lancers & subarus!!!

pag porma, mazda 3. negative = nabasa ko sa isang forum nabangga(natumbok) siya ng mazda 3, medyo nayupi yung mazda + basag headlight vs gasgas lang yung corolla(bigbody) nung isa... + hindi maganda record ng mazda from previous car models... pero who knows baka hindi lang porma maganda sa mazda 3...
ford focus = wala ako alam dito pero naliliitan ako sa kotse nato parang masikip sa loob. :-D
altis = not much to look at pag stock, pero tingnan mo yung mga naka body kit na altis + astig na mags, ganda! toyota pa kaya siguradong pangmatagalan at hindi masakit sa bulsa ang maintenance...
honda = sabi nila mayaman ka daw pag nakahonda ka heheh (marketing strategy nila) gusto ko yung latest model ng civic.
medyo one sided. pasensya :evil:

Mothers tend to like red cars, which is why they make them. Now if that were your car, I might imagine it would be silver - and a Mazda 6. :-)
I had to comparison shop between a Mazda 3 and a Civic 1.8L when I got my car - I nearly got the Mazda based on looks but my brother recommended the Civic for the technology ... so I got the Civic. At the time the Mazda 3 was only 1.6 and quite underpowered.

So what do you guys think of the new Lancer Evo X? It looks different from previous Evos. I heard theyre only going to produce it with paddle shifters instead of the regular manual transmission.

^ paddle shifters are ok, might be hard to get used to (even though im only 15 and dont drive...)
but, i think they went off-track ever since the Evo 8's release..not a fan.
Plus, im a subaru-boy :-D

Question lang mga pare, medyo newbie kasi ako sa auto modding e. Gusto ko kasi magpa-HID lights (low beam, high beam, foglamps). May nag-offer sa akin ng "Conquer" na brand, P9,000 each for H7 low beam, H7 high beam and H11 foglamp then tig-P3,000 daw per canceller pair. Made in China or Korea yata tong brand na to and medyo nagdududa ako sa quality.
Yung McCulloch HID lamps na nirecommend naman sakin ni schnitzerz4 eh medyo mahal at wala atang canceller ang Meguiar's. But then again, ayoko naman salpakan ng substandard HID lamps yung auto ko.. Yung X-Trail ko kasi nilagyan ko ng German-made Bosch HID lamps and ayos naman sya pero wala na akong mahanap na ganun :(
Ano ba ang marerecommend ninyong magandang brand with reliable ballasts? By the way, my car is a 2007 BMW 320d sedan.
