So far tried the following:

BD 2
D zound ver 1
Sd 1
Monte Allums TS 808 (borrower and used for an hour)
Marshall Drivemaster

Out of all these, the Monte Allums ts 808 I would have to say really got me going. Fat and creamy. Too bad it wasn't mine.

The D zound was the most transparent. It really brings out the sound of your guitar, amp and your playing.

Currently I have left Boss SD 1 which has become my personal preferrence if I feel like using an OD. No brainer controls and can pretty much get the sound that I like. Im still craving for a BD2 though.

I have: Xotic AC Booster, Xotic BB preamp, SD-1, Maxon OD9, BD-2 Keeley

I had: Fulltone OCD V4, Barber Small Fry, MI Audio Blues Pro, MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe

JMorrero's new OD - I forgot the name

, tried it just recently in a fender solidstate(which now makes me wonder what this baby will sound like on a tube amp) and a fender strat, nice and smooth, very transparent, even in 0 gain, it still retains the guitars clarity, great for blues, maybe can act as a gain booster as well(haven't tried though).

Boss SD1 - very versatile pedal, reacts very well to different types/brand of amp
