Let me just log this in.. Just for records.. Let me recall what happened.. Haha

Sold the tonedriver - sounded digital for me
Then got sd-2
Replaced od-2r
Then got ds-1
Flipped it in a week - drive was too strong for church use
Got ts-808
..badmonkey, ts-808 and sd-2 stayed quite some time..
Then sold badmonkey - realized that dynamics were a bit sucked by the pedal.
Got vox duel overdrive
Sold my sd-2 - found out the sound was quite fizzy
Then sold ts-808 - bass was cut

I might have skipped a few drive pedals though..

What i'm using now:
Xotic ep booster
Bearfoot honey beest od
Paul c timmy
Analogman prince of tone

..still got my vox duel overdrive.. But might sell it anytime soon..

how does the kalamazoo sound like? i heard this pedal is quite saturated.. does this pedal feel like there's a blanket over the amp?

It's the only TS-based OD I've liked. For some reason though I thought it sounded better on solid state amps than on tube amps, kaso tingin ko dahil lang yun sa pangit yung mga tube amps na nagamit ko dati. Sounded clear and no loss of bass. I remember having only sold it for an OCD. Mas kailangan ko kasi ng amp-like od kesa TS e. Run it at 18v sir, huge difference in tone when it's running at 18v as opposed to 9v.

What do you plan to play with it?

I think it sounds best played with single coils , especially strats. If you're into the "SRV, Mayer, Philip Sayce, Kenny Wayne Sheperd,etc blues" thing, then the FD-2 is a perfect fit.

They sound good with chords also, but just a little bit smooth for me. I prefer having a bit of grit for chord work.
