To hear it is to believe it. I was there when turi tested it at PJC and at Broken Chord Studios. The difference is really audible. You get a more balanced tone. Compared with other cables, it seemed the lava has more low end and body. I also noticed with other cables we paired up against, most of the time your lows get cut off. Not with lava. You hear all frequencies: lows, mids, and highs.

This is a great tool. I hope to get mine soon.  :-)

hehe i hate my tone
...i bought 2 neutrik plugs and 1m klotz cable, cut to a length of 12", soldered it to an electrician... then compared it with my 20ft fender california cable
after months of usage, last saturday i learned it sucks my highs to much...

length of cable? the shorter the better?

nah

Iba size ng cable ng Lava for the plugs. Theyre much smaller.

tip: first cables to get are your main instrument cables - Lava Clear connect
guitar to board
board to amp
THEN get Lava Solderless Pedal Board kits. Or plugs and cables when the Cable Station arrives in a month. ( I am accepting reservations with down payment by the way)
I was supposed to get Vovox. I will in the near future. But the Lava Clear Connect did a rally great job in improving my tone/signal. It really did. So i got the Lava Clear Connect 20ft Straight to Straight from Board to amp. And got a 15ft Lava Clear Connect Right angle to straight from Guitar to Pedal Board.

I think this is a bit OT, pero I have a question. What if I have a buffer pedal i.e. Mi audio boost n buff. Would a high end cable still be a big difference? I was thinking that the buffer thingy would only recover the lost signal from the amp to pedal board(w/c means the board to guitar will be the one that's in trouble).  Any insights? Kasi If I buy a Lava cable I'd only have budget for 1 tapos matagalan pa ako makakuha.

I've got my friend's MI Audio Boost n Buff with me. I will try that.

Yes, there's a significant difference in using 'high end' cables. But, I have always suggested to people who ask, that you get two cables when you order. That way, it will be more balanced. Assuming you still have the same cables on your pedal board. This is what I suggested to my friend Saturn Return. Upgrade/invest in your main instrument cables first before the pat cables. Helps a real lot.

If you do get only one, in your case, from board to amp, there's still a good change in your signal. Notes clearer. Low, mids, and highs are balanced. Imagine if you had two.

Id be glad to do another demo. I am available during Sunday's with a week's advanced notice because I have to reserve a studio for that.

Gonna be a lava cable user soon. :-D

Next year VOVOX.

Ah, now that's an entirely different story my man. I'll be doing the same thing soon. Probably this year. It's a pricey investment. Distributor or not. I'll be trying out the Lava Rock Option with the VOVOX for additional protection. But it will be for the Sonorous Protect A.

awesome GAS-inducing statements!  :-)

@Opay21,

it's not always about the signal strength but also the clarity.  if you boost an already muddy signal, then what you get is just a louder muddy signal.

imagine if you boost a clear signal.
