Upping the thread for this particular Schecter model I found on the net yesterday.
http://www.schecterguitars.com/international/guitars/banshee-elite-7-detailThe feature/price ratio seems very, very good, even compared to Ibanez Japan models. There aren't many reviews of it on the net yet, but I would sure like to try one out if I chance upon one here.
Here's a list of nonstandard features that I think make this model a winner:
*neck through design
*ebony fretboard
*carbon reinforcement rods
*jumbo stainless steel frets
*locking tuners
Guitars which have at most three or four of these features are usually Music Man-to-boutique level pricing, but this is actually currently retailing for slightly more than a thousand dollars, which places it in the Mexican Fender/Ibanez Prestige territory.
Is this a good time to be guitar gear buyer or what? #gas
